Hail Fellow Well Met - Restaurant in Springdale - 5519 Hackett Rd Suite 101, USA

Went to brunch here for the first time this past Saturday. I have driven by a few times and even stopped in for coffee once. Always thought it was such a cute and trendy place. But, man!! If only I had known what I was missing!! My food was absolutely outstanding. I got the Benjamin's as well as a side of seasonal fruit. For a drink I got the Fomo Coffee. Also delicious. The food my companions got also looked delicious! I will definitely be back to try everything and will be telling everyone I know to come enjoy some delicious food.

Beautiful restaurant and amazing atmosphere. There were only 3 other patrons in the whole restaurant. We were handed a full menu, when we went up to order we were told they were out of many items. It was 840 on a Sunday. Then she corrected herself and said they had a limited menu and wouldn't be able to offer most items until after 9. So we ordered pastries from the case and a drip coffee and a side of soft scrambled eggs. They would not make regular scrambled or fried eggs as they have a policy of no food/menu modifications. I am vegetarian so most all menu items were off limits. We waited 30 minutes and still hadn't been served and it was still empty. I asked for an update on our order and it seems like they forgot about us, so we immediately got our food. The soft scramble eggs were literally liquid, I was so surprised at the texture. It was nicely seasoned and tasted good but wouldn't order again. The pastries were good and coffee is always wonderful at onyx. I will stick to a traditional brunch location as their menu and rules were too limiting for an enjoyable meal.

Had an absolutely spectacular dinner at Hail Fellow Well Met on Friday night. This ranks as one of the very best restaurants in Northwest Arkansas. Chef is an alum of The French Laundry and Alinea. Food is elevated and interesting, without being fussy. Presentation is outstanding. Service was absolutely top-notch - warm, friendly and inviting. The prices are very reasonable, given the quality of the food. This is a "can't miss" experience in dining for our region! My only complaint was a minor one - the chairs in the restaurant were small and rather uncomfortable, not well suited for larger people and for a relaxing dining experience. Would be great to have another option, if possible.

Pretty cool atmosphere for Arkansas but the food isn’t worth it. The classic margarita for $13 isn’t too bad. The food portions are very small and not that great. Salt is overused here which tells you the quality of the food isn’t great. Salt is used when processed food or foods lack flavor which means the chef lacks skill. For $200 I expected much more. I got talking to a waitress, Courtney, who was really cool to talk with otherwise I would have rated a 1 star. Go for a drink or two but skip the food. It’s not worth it.

The food was good. The place itself was gorgeous. But my time there was kind of awful. The place does not accepts reservations, I had a party of 8 people and they only had 1 table for big parties. We had to wait for over 2 hours just to be seated. I recommend it if you have a party of 4 or less. Also before dinner hours they only have brunch menu options, which limits the customer.

What really sets Hail Fellow Well Met apart is the atmosphere of this place. They have a fantastic, big, airy, wood walled main sitting area with a giant bank of windows that allows for tons of natural light. The coffee, the food, and the service are also really good. A great place to grab some brunch and chat with a friend for an hour or so. I had the Chilaquilas, and while it may not be the most photogenic dish, it was tasty.

Hail fellow well met has some of the best brunch around. The food tasted fresh, looked amazing, and was very hearty. The menu had lots of options and I’m sure all of them were as good as the last. I definitely recommend miss Biscuit and some of their drip coffee. Service was pretty good and overall the aesthetics of this place are awesome.

Beautiful decor inside, very welcoming, plenty of outdoor patio seating. Definitely a gathering place as conversations were a plenty, which is great! Ordered the “Simple Breakfast” of soft scrambled eggs, desert avacadi, tomato, Onyx bacon, charred sourdough. Great presentation and attention to detail, not just for my order as I could see the chef checking and finalizing all orders before they were approved for delivery to customers. Onyx coffee, ‘nuff said! I’ll likely be back!
