Great hike as always though the melting of the snow made it VERY icy. However, we made it up, and back down only falling a few times. (I also didn't have spikes or anything). Lots of deer activity alongside the trail. Three of them came trekking up the front of the mountain just as we made it to the top. Lovely views. Also, whoever left a dog poop bag at the beginning of the trail by the board, you're bad for the environment :)
A short and easy hike that offers a great view of the town below.
Be careful going up when the snow and ice melting, it can get very steep, do not underestimate the incline. You will accelerate quickly. Good trail during the dry season.
you might consider this mountain like a giant hill for the ADKs because of the amount of time it takes to hike up it. It took me about 30 minutes to the top but could last as long as 1.5 hrs depending on your fitness. Its definitely steep at parts, but the top view is breathtaking overlooking the town of warrensburg!
Steep but pretty short hike! However the views at the top are very rewarding and worth ever drop of sweat!
This hike is the perfect one for beginners and advanced hikers. In under an hour, you can get some of the best views in the county. The view is unobstructed and beats many other hikes in the area. There are two ways to the top since it's a loop but one is steeper and more challenging than the other. Another perk of doing this hike is that there are other hikes in the area so you can get different perspectives and other views.
Short but steep hike. Beautiful view of Warrensburg and surrounding mountains. Parked at Prospect Street lot.
Awesome hike and views, totally worth the climb to the summit.
Great place for a quick breakfast. The quiche of the day was excellent. My husband enjoyed his bacon and home fries. The coffee was excellent and the staff was very friendly.
Jay and Brittni were great hosts during my family's recent bed and breakfast stay. This property is well maintained and family friendly which is a rarity for B&Bs. It was also a comfortable, accommodating stay for our 5 month old. The property is
Needed parts for my Vermont Castings wood stove. Called Cozy Cabin and spoke with Tanya Carpenter. She was so very kind, polite and knowledgeable. She helped me find the exact pieces I needed from a schematic which she sent via email. Parts arriv
The Cronin family has been hosts for golfers in this mountain setting for generations. Friendly hospitable and down to earth. Enjoy a home cooked lunch on the deck and play golf on the well tended beautiful course. We always come back for more relaxa
I have always wanted to come and finally got there today. Top quality meats and spices, cheese and more, worth a stop anytime, but itâs a beautiful ride in the fall. Worth the 40 minute ride, just to get great prices on quality spices and their mea
We love it here and absolutely enjoy this campground! Fun family atmosphere! Activities on the weekends including bands! Thanks so much Shaw Family for all you do!
One of the best brunch places I've had in a while, in all honesty. When you arrived at the restaurant and were welcomed by the server, it seemed very welcoming. Food was excellent. I ate the biscuit & gravy and because my friend wouldn't let me get a
Great restaurant, great staff, great food! We all ordered sandwiches, which were really good and the portions were generous. The fries were super tasty, crispy and hot. I would definitely recommend eating here!
