Hacienda McDonough - Mexican restaurant in McDonough - 131 S Point Blvd, USA

While visiting last holiday break I discovered this beautiful place and could not wait to be. Today I got to enjoy once more the beauty that is Hacienda! Would you believe that I was so engulfed in the vibes and emotions that I forgot to order my entree!? Lol, I was wondering why the polite waiter, Andres kept asking if I was okay! The food was again absolutely delicious! The portions are very generous! It is a treat to be here once more!

First time visiting, and stopped in for dinner. The waiter was pleasant and attentive. The food was fantastic. I opted for a spinach and mushroom Quesadilla, which was made with fresh veggies...delish! Good vibe, people stopping in after work for a drink and a bite to eat. Would definitely go back.

I had a spur-of-the-moment decision to check out this place today, and boy was I in for a treat! The food turned out to be absolutely scrumptious, and guess what - they even had a robot serving the drinks! It added a nice touch to the whole experience. Though my Margarita ended up being a tad too strong for my liking, the staff promptly brought out extra margarita mix for me to balance it out. From then on, everything was smooth sailing. I went for the chicken enchilada and the chicken tamale, which came with a heavenly side of rice and beans. Talk about a perfect combo! All in all, I must say it was a wonderful time, and the food truly surpassed my expectations. I've already made up my mind - I will definitely be back for more!

Easily the best Mexican restaurant I ever been to. Best food, everything authentic. Best drinks. You could go just to drink and have a ball! The service is really good, very polite. Major plus and the music brings it all together. They gotta DJ. Simply amazing!

Great food and atmosphere! First the not so good. I deducted 2 stars for service because of a poor experience with one of the bartenders. We ordered chips, salsa and queso for take out. The chip vs salsa and queso ratio was not great so we asked to purchase another bag of chips. The bartender told us “that’s plenty! You have plenty” and that we didn’t need more chips. We thanked her for her input and asked to pay for 2 more bags, which are very small. She said if we wanted more we’d have to pay $5 per extra bag! We declined and went to another local restaurant for more chips at $2 for 2 large bags. Super bizarre to tell a paying customer the amount they have is plenty and to up-charge to prove a point. She’s not someone we will work with when we return. Now the good… On a separate visit, we enjoyed the outdoor seating and ate a very delicious meal - fish tacos, steak with bacon wrapped shrimp and Mexican rice and beans. The waiter suggested a very delicious coconut margarita, which came in a beautiful carafe with matching glasses. We also enjoyed unlimited chips and salsa and added on a bowl of queso. The service was great! PS…. the Friday DJ is amazing.

Great place to have lunch! The robot delivering drinks was too cute. Large menu with authentic dishes. Price point was a little higher than average but not too far - they have a robot!!

Atmosphere was dope. Loved the vibe for a busy Saturday afternoon. However the food was very blah. No one was satisfied with their food. I got the Steak and Shrimp wrapped with bacon and it was just meh. Wifey had a burrito and it was underwhelming. The kids did not like their food but they are kids and don't like anything. I would come back for the vybe and drinks though

Been here twice already and it’s currently my favorite Mexican restaurant in McDonough. Food is fresh. Chips are hot. Salsa is nice and cold. Queso is delicious and doesn’t taste like it’s something from a can.
