More customers need to know about this restaurant! If you're in the mood for pupusas or a wide variety of Salvadorian dishes, this is your spot. It's off the main avenue (Bergenline) so it can be difficult to find if you're just passing by the neighborhood, but this is worth the visit. Pupusas were DELICIOUS, the service was very friendly and accommodating, seating is comfortable and the menu is authentic. I'll be making this restaurant a regular visit, for sure.
Pupusas revueltas are the best for me. They give enough curtido and is delicious. They are big. This is my favorite place to order Pupusas.
Ordered grilled chicken, it looked like the chicken was starved, and had a horrific death, it was so skinny and so hard, I couldn't even get a bite out of it, like a rubber chicken literally 🙃 😫 Then I didn't think you can mess up cooking beans, but I guess you can, beans were not cooked properly and had a weird after taste. Hope I don't get sick tonite 🤧 😒
As a Salvadoran the pupusas weren’t that great as the reviews were saying, the curtido de repollo was dark and look like it was old and the pupusas didn’t have that much filling inside and what threw everything off was, I was already on my third pupusa and once I broke it apart found a long piece of black hair in the pupusa. My friend and I were so disgusted that we threw out our rest of our food in the garbage. Never experienced something like this, sorry but that would be our last time ordering here.
Food was Amazing!!!! Love this place I travel from ATL,GA and the reviews match the excellent food. Great taste! Will be back! A little hidden but overall great and they have their own parking which is also great
Been here once, will definitely be back. Delicious empanadas and massive portions. Soups were a bit salty on their own but just perfect with the sides (rice, etc).
