Nice and spacious.
Clean.
Old historical buildings, 1802
Plenty of room for 5 of us.
Great shower and huge bath tub. Couldn't get jets to work....
Couldn't get the inlaid fire Stove to work, pilot light went out, tried many times to relight it... Still the rooms had Heat, the fire would have been nice though.
Breakfast was way too early, and finished too early. Not everyone wants breakfast by 9......
Friday's menu said breakfast tacos, it wasn't, it was tamales...
There was a hot tub, no idea where it was, we arrived at night in the dark, and there was a sign up sheet.....
Comfy king size bed, Keurig coffee machine with creams and sugar, that was nice.
Overall, it was good. Would return
I wish I could have stayed longer! I stayed for two nights and kept discovering new things to love about this place. The room was very warm and the floors were so clean. I love being barefoot so I appreciated that. The towels in the bathroom were XL/bath sheets (amazing for a big body), the water pressure was great and there were robes in the room. I discovered a book of poetry in place of a Bible and took it out on the room's patio with a throw blanket to read with a mug of coffee. There's a Keurig AND a kettle in the room and Rishi teas (so lush!). Also oak milk creamer and ice in the fridge. I was delighted to learn about the hot tub and I went exploring for the lounge area near the kitchen on my second night. I found the cutest living room space with books and games and yoga mats. Honestly, I was so impressed by this place I haven't stopped talking about it in the almost two weeks since. I would love to return!
Best hotel I ever stayed at. Room was clean cozy and comfortable. Stayed in Taos suite. Water pressure and temperature were amazing. Jacuzzi was perfect. The fire place was perfect. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows and blankets. Would go back to Taos just to stay there again!
Magical place to stay in Taos. Arrived later in the evening and the hotel manager was so accommodating and helpful. I stayed in the Cowgirl room which has a beautiful morning view of the mountains. The room was very clean and thoughtfully-appointed and the grounds are idyllic and inviting. Yummy breakfast, too! Such a restful, pleasant place. Highly recommend!
Loved this historic B&B. Some of the buildings are over 200 years old. Great place to chill. The gardens are beautiful with views of Taos mountain. Our room did not have a TV, but who cares. The views and the "chill factor" was what made this place special to unwind.
And the breakfasts were fantastic. Choice of hot tamales and other hot and cold items daily. Owner and staff were extremely friendly.
Location is right next to the Taos Pueblo and minutes from the Taos Plaza. Excellent lunch and dinner options close by..... we had a great visit and plan to stay here again when in the Taos area.
Second time staying here and just as lovely! Thank you for a comfortable room and a delicious breakfast!! Hacienda Del Sol is our go-to when in Taos
My husband and I live in Santa Fe but enjoy traveling to Taos for a change of pace. The Hacienda del Sol is our favorite lodging option. We recently stayed in the Cowboy Suite and appreciated its spaciousness, fireplace, comfortable beds and linens, and excellent views of the interior grassy courtyard and of Taos Mountain. Each room has a different character, but you can definitely count on comfortable beds, hot showers, lots of towels, and some rooms have microwave ovens and/or small refrigerators. Additionally HDS offers a superb breakfast in the morning including an egg special cooked in real time by a chef, vegan tamales, fresh fruit, cereals, fresh baked goods and excellent coffee and tea service. The property is well-located, close to great restaurants (Love Apple is adjacent, Michael's just down the road), as well as Taos Plaza and Taos Pueblo. Checkin is seamless, with instructions texted and/or emailed in advance. This is a really special place to stay, and good value.
Top to bottom this was a great experience. Stayed in Mabel Salon. Plenty of space and the bed was so comfortable, we decided to stay another night!
Great fresh breakfast and the fresh squeezed OJ was delicious.
Favorite part was sitting in back courtyard and listening to the magpies.
Jennifer made us feel extremely welcomed. She had a warm personality and made great recommendations for things to do in area.
Had an outstanding experience staying here. Rooms are spacious, charming, and comfortable, the value is excellent, and the staff was extremely helpful and personable. What puts it above and beyond other options is the free breakfast spread, which was
Taos Historic Inn is super charming and really good value given location and quality. We had a corner room way in the back of one of the buildings, and while the beds, bathroom, and amenities were great, the room itself was a little dark. I think tha
Every single staff member was so sweet and kind. Iâve worked in customer service for over a decade and something very unique that I noticed about every staff member we crossed paths with was that everyone seemed very genuine in their greetings and
Not completely a Hilton (if youâre a Hilton Honors member looking for something specific). Itâs privately owned in partnership with Hilton and does not have some things that you may be expecting. There is different soap, no coffee or tea waiting
Terrific mix of old and new. Had a historic room with 2 queens and Kiva fireplace. Clogged sink was dealt with immediately. Expansive grounds and great views. Rooms are quiet and away from highway. Good restaurant with live music every night. Very
Me and my Partner had the pleasure of staying in Casita A while we stayed for an extended time in Taos. The property is peaceful, beautiful and welcoming. We loved staying in the Casita, it is incredibly cozy and includes everything you need. The kit
It has been a long Path leading me to this sacred place. I've been in temples with Baba-ji in my Sleeping Dreams, however this visit was my first in my Waking Dream. The love and dedication of his devotees is everywhere you look; the scents and sound
First time to Taos skiing and stayed here several days in the large main home. Lots of space with a big kitchen, living and dining area. Our group had for adults and seven kids, mostly teenagers. Kids took over the big dining table for card games etc
This place looks like itâs not in Taos! Itâs a hidden gem inside of the Taos Valley Lodge hotel. Spacious, super clean, welcoming. Large variety of coffees and tea shakers, along with some baked goodies and burritos. Fast wi-fi and lots of space
This is a delicious little food truck!!! Everything we've tried on the menu has been delicious. The fries and onion rings are some of the best I've had! The staff is super friendly and proces are reasonable!!
We have been traveling to Taos for nearly 30 years. We will never stay anywhere else again! The Old Taos Guesthouse has always been ideally located close to town with amazing views. However, now that they have added the new casitas, we can the choose
I'm glad we stopped in! I bought rye sourdough loaf, a baguette, a bearclaw, and a chile cheese croissant. My husband loved the bear claw, and I loved my croissant! I don't eat pork, and it's not easy to find a savory croissant without ham in i
