Habanero's Slidell - Mexican restaurant in Slidell - 1752 Lindberg Dr, USA

We had a really nice waiter, the place was really clean and decent, price was not to bad. The good was excellent!!! Everything we had tasted so so good!! It didn't take too long too once we ordered to get out for either. Staff was decently attentive as well, to refills and such. I would recommend this as an excellent place to eat Mexican food!! We will be back again!

It is always a pleasure to come here. The drinks and the food are always on point. The establishment is very clean and inviting.

Had the slow roasted lamb. It was very tender but needs more juice and flavor. The wife had the shrimp and it was excellent. Large, well seasoned perfectly cooked. We both had soft tacos. I prefer the corn and they were also excellent. The biggest challenge is the really loud atmosphere. Need some sound dampening panels...or quiet customers 🤔

Met a few business colleagues at lunch here, as a first-timer, wanted to share my experience. Our server was polite, professional and quick! Our food was out in record time! I ordered the Patron Chicken Bowl (no rice) which was a delight. Well seasoned but not too spicy, tender enough to be cut with a fork and surrounded by fresh avocado, cilantro and mixed greens. Best lunch I’ve had out in awhile! Highly recommend!

Presentation and vibes are unmatched. Edwin was an excellent server. His service alone makes me want to return. Food was excellent. Alejandra was very nice and accommodating when I asked for the game to be put on. Definitely will be back.

This place is a vibe. The service is 10/10 and so is the food. We didn’t know what we wanted to eat and stumbled upon Habaneros. It was a Sunday so we were looking for brunch and pulled over here. The chicken and waffles was by far the best I’ve ever had. My husband had the red snapper tacos, they were seasoned so perfectly and melt in your mouth. I would 100% go here again

The inside of the restaurant is gorgeous, and I was thrilled when I moved back from Colorado and saw the menu online. Let me repeat, Colorado, where most of the food is sub-par at best, except for Mexican food. Y’all. Taco-Tico on Pontchartrain over 30 years ago was better quality food than this. You should be highly ashamed to be charging $75 for four garbage “meals”. Smothering some meat and powdered beans wrapped in a tortilla and a cheese enchilada (with no enchilada sauce whatsoever) with more cheese is embarrassing as well. Do better.

I placed an online order through Habaneros slidell website. Received a call and text stating the restaurant was unable to fulfill my order because they were out! I told them that I did not want anything else on the menu. This establishment refused to refund me in fact the lady who presented herself as the manager refused to assist with the issue.
