Habanero Mexican Grill - Mexican restaurant in San Gabriel - 9003 E Fairview Ave, USA

This is a nice fast-casual Mexican spot in San Gabriel. The drive-thru is fast and the food is delicious and authentic. I got two Bean & Cheese Burritos and they were both hot n fresh! Each entree also comes with a side of chips and hot sauce. They have a small parking lot if you wish to dine at their patio tables.

Love the burritos here! So good. I've never eaten at their little patio adjacent to the parking lot but they do have seating if you need it. I also enjoy their taquitos when I'm not too hungry. Salsa is hot and tasty. My friend loves the breakfast burritos. Says they're the best around. Prices have gone up, but that's at every place.

Wow!! And not in a good way. I’ve read through alot of the reviews, and unfortunately will have to disagree with a majority of them. Authentic? To some degree. Look I grew up eating a lot of these dishes they make here but the problem is the flavor. It’s a Tuesday evening, ordered chicharon plate rice and beans .. Simple … rice no flavor, the beans…. Come on, if your rice/beans are not good. Then I’m sorry I regret to inform you that I wouldnt have the confidence to eat the rest of what Evers on my plate. The sopes plate … another WOW and also not in a good way. I could have hurt some one really bad if I was to throw it at someone. It was so hard. Which leads me to believe that they are frozen and not fresh.. So yeah not again..

All the guys there are friendly, courteous and understand good service. I have built a friendship with a few guys there, like Danny. Best Tamales around and I know Tamales (I grew up in Boyle Heights) no better place around the area than here for Tamales. My Fav are the Pork Tamales, even the masa is very tasty. They usually include green and red salsa (very tasty) chips, eating utensils and napkins. Fast, Friendly, Good Service with Hot Tasty Mexican Food !

My go-to place for Mexican food when I want something quick. Probably not the best pictures (coctel de camaron and the pozole) of their food but it's so good. Always tastes fresh and they have a wide selection. I usually get the coctel de camaron or carne asada burrito. When you can, try their champurrado.

Place offers great burritos and other Mexican dishes at a fairly reasonable price. The employees are friendly and will bring the food out to you if you choose to dine in their patio. Once they are out of coffee though in the morning, they don’t make a new batch, upon request. Place is clean and service is pretty quick.

This place is on point -- and i love Mexican drive thru places -- and has a wide range of options way beyond the standard fare. Shrimp taco was good, and they have the most options for a dorado taco that ive seen anywhere, i got the Al pastor, and it was a little dry. Service was brilliant and salsas were outstanding -- was that a little habanero salsa?

Food quality is low. Service is spotty at best. Location is good, easy in and out. Employees do not seem to care much about sanitation or hygiene. Foods taste too salty. Nothing here that's worth a stop.
