We did Story Time with Santa and it was great! They had everything organized well and decorated beautifully. We’ll definitely make this a yearly tradition.
The play area used to be terrific. It had castles on different levels to climb. Had Andrea for younger kids & many more play options than now. The play area needs to be doubled in size to accommodate all the children. Plus, the old play area had character & was built by the citizens!
The grounds are very well kept. My son's enjoys the recreation soccer and basketball here. My husband enjoys the disc golf course. Fun for the whole family.
Love how they renovated everything! More kid friendly and kids won't get hurt if they fall it has a foam like floor now. Kids love it and enjoy it. It was a much needed change! Hopefully, more things can be added later or expanded.
The pool is always a winner. Large area for small children & those who can't swim. Never over-crowded. Lots of parking spaces. Workout room, basketball courts, walking track, exercise classes, etc.
Love this local gem. I use it for dog training. Good mix of open spaces, kids on playground equipment, skate park, basketball and tennis courts, paved trails and natural trails with obstacles. Even has a rec center and dog park.
Great park for kids and teenagers, they have a skate park, batting cages, and the huge two story recreation center is great for all ages, with an outdoor pool with a beach entrance for young kids and a water slide, a well as an Olympic size indoor pool that is open all year round. Basketball courts, tennis courts, soccer fields, softball fields, baseball fields, and several large open fields great for flying a kite or have a picnic out in the sun. This park has everything for your recreational needs.
New updated play ground area for the kids, they have even added wheelchair accessible swings and outdoor gym equipment for kids.
They removed the huge wood playground to put in a much smaller concrete, metal and plastic one. Im not sure why they didn't make it was big as the other one. It has a softer manmade floor now that makes it easier on the kids if they fall down. There used to be a huge amount of children here with the huge wood play ground. I miss it.
Truly a spectacular tour experience! The history, the elevated spaces and our tour guide (Tyler) were all par excellence!! We dined and laughed and felt proud to be able to experience this amazing American story. Weâll definitely be back soon.
Cold brew is super good and soooo many flavors to choose from! Drive thru makes it super quick. Wish the lattes werenât so heavy on the milk, I like my drinks tasting strong and donât want to have to add another shot for it to actually taste like
A wonderful place! Friendly, cozy environment. Inviting. Friendly staff. Great brewed coffee selection with refills! Delicious breakfast selections and great prices. Pastries and muffins are available. It's worth a visit :)
So glad I stopped there. My waitress Kim was amazing and beyond sweet. The fried catfish was perfectly cooked with a light batter. The white beans and okra were spot on as well. The fried cornbread cake topped it all off. A truly perfect plate of foo
They are always on point when we go there. We love their variety on their menu. The biscuits could be better, but everything else is great. I had their prime rib tips, loved it.
I've tried all the Mexican restaurants in Shelbyville and I don't think anything of them come close. Food comes out pretty dang quick and I'm never disappointed. I understand people have their own opinions, but this place is consistent.
