H Mart - Gaithersburg - Asian grocery store in Gaithersburg - 9639 Lost Knife Rd, USA

This is the worst H Mart that I have ever been to. I work nearby so have come a few times. It is so far below other H Marts in terms of service, stock, and standards. The veggies here are all always about to go bad. Soft root vegetables and soggy greens on the shelves. They have less variety of Asian foods and more of a focus on Latin American food. There are better dedicated markets elsewhere if you are looking for Latino ingredients. Definitely not the worst possible grocery store but not good. Especially bad for an H Mart which usually has great, fresh food. They also don’t have the nice restaurant/food court that other H Marts have.

H Mart is an specialty grocery store and great place to discover hard to find items from Asian cuisine. I've found some amazingly tasty food! The BBQ is delicious and the seafood selection is extensive. Go check it out!

The best grocery store! They have a great selection of vegetables, also Asian varieties. Of course they have an excellent variety of Korean products, but also Japanese, Latino and Middle Eastern. Thru have a wide variety of fish and a good meat section. Ample frozen and canned goods also. The staff is helpful if I can't find something. This is my favorite grocery store!

Purchased the sashimi grade salmon block deal and bought what appeared to be a large and fatty piece of fish that ended up being a lean piece atop two smaller piece of fish. Very disappointing experience, but 3 stars out of consideration for prior good experiences

Typical Chinese / Korean place with extensive selection of items. Good hours and decent service. Nothing home to take about but has been there for a long long time so it’s good for what it is.

They have a gazillion items ninety nine percent of which I have no interest in buying, but they do have some of the unique things including a big selection of tofu, kinds of seafood and other things. I think most of their vegetable prices and fruit prices (the normal stuff) are more expensive (or at least more expensive than I have seen at our local Safeway, LIDL or Giant) so I don't frequently shop here except for specialty items.

Service is weird there but the worse part is you cant take the cart to your car. Meaning if you didnt bring a bag youll need to carry your items one by one to your car. Good grief.

This store is ok if your looking for prepackaged Asian products that’s all the fruits and vegetables are not fresh they have a funky smell! The sea food smells bad I purchased shrimp a couple of time and I had to toss them out they smell so nasty !! The food is over priced too !!
