H Hollywood Resort and Residences - Resort hotel in Hollywood - 4111 S Ocean Dr, USA

This was our first stay at this resort, we had an awesome experience. Beautifully decorated rooms, comfortable beds & and a luxurious lobby. The views from the room are top tier, we had a huge balcony with views of the inlet and ocean. Very nice gym equipment and a nice size. There were always beach chairs available when we decided to spend time at the beach. The staff were polite and helpful, very nice valet service. We highly recommend, we really enjoyed our stay.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently stayed at H Hollywood Resort and Residences and had an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with stunning views of the city skyline. The amenities were top-notch, especially the rooftop pool and bar, which offered breathtaking views and delicious cocktails. The location was perfect for exploring Hollywood, with many attractions and restaurants within walking distance. Overall, I can't recommend H Hollywood enough for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Los Angeles. I can't wait to visit again!

We love the Hyde so much. They always take care of us. Ahmani is amazing at the front desk. She went over and beyone to take care of us! She took care of our issues we had checking in and made everything perfect. She was so kind and helpful. Amazing hospitality and service. We love this place

The reviews are correct! Security staff in the lobby was extremely rude. We were not advised that all 4 guests in our room needed a wristband to get up to the room, and for the first 36 hours of our stay the security guard the guest never questioned it and was semi-pleasant at least. We returned back from a fun family day in Miami to a different security guard who (in a very rude tone) advised that we all needed a wrist band or else we couldn't go to our room; or we would have to buy new wristbands $20/each from the front desk. I told her I was not buying new ones and I would go to my room to retrieve them for my family instead. It's not always what you say and do, but it's how you say and do it! This place is too expensive to be treated so poorly. I see many comments about rude lobby staff, so it must not be addressed properly. The beach towels and chairs are nice. Gorgeous views from the balcony and rooftop pool. If it had not been for these things, this trip would be one of my least favorite Florida vacations (of many). $30, 45 minute Lyft ride to south beach - I was pleased with that. Location is excellent.

When I checked in on Friday I was greeted very nice by the front desk, it went very smooth and got in my room, no problem. My family and I then decided to go check out the pool and outdoor area which was quite a surprise. What a great area with a beautiful view. The room was fantastic and was very well cleaned. The weekend was near perfect I recommend staying here if you’re looking for a nice relaxing place to stay!

We booked a room facing the ocean but unfortunately, the shades were broken and some of the view was blocked. The faucet handle in the kitchen came off; the couch in the living room was dirty; the door handle from my bedroom came off when I tried to close the door; the drawers from the dresser in the bedroom didn't work properly; there was a sewage smell in one of the bathrooms. I called the reception and they sent a man to fix the problems but he couldn't, except for the smell in the bathroom. He poured something down the drain in the shower and after several hours, the smell was gone. He said someone else would come to fix the shades the next day but nobody came during our stay. Some other guy came the next day and fixed the faucet handle. The hallway on our floor wasn't very clean either. It looked like it needed vacuuming. Terrible. The location is great but we had bad luck with our room.

Check-in is at 4 , our ocean front room was not available till 5. We stayed at this resort for the kitchen we we got our groceries for fridge and freezer to only find out that the freezer does not work. Asked the front desk for ice to try to save our food and was told they don’t have any. Needless to say they didn’t fix the issue and all our ice cream and stuff for the kids had to be throw away. Called for sheets and stuff to use the sofa bed - called twice 4 and half hours later still no sheets or blankets etc. Went down to front desk to ask and they only had sheets because housekeeping already left ( not to mention elevator from floor 7 to lobby takes 15-20 minutes every time you go to use it and there is only one on that side of building). Next day they moved us to a different room on floor 34 which is not ocean front but has a working freezer ( little to late after everything had to be thrown away) we moved rooms with the understanding that we would have bedding in the room ready for the sleeper sofa so we don’t have to wait over 4 hours to get bedding again. No bedding in room for sleeper sofa called 3 times after 4pm since still was not in room as promised or dropped off at door - and still did not get bedding for over 5 hours late at night. Then to make matters worse was doing night check before getting ready to go to bed with a 4 year old in room to find out that the sliding door that goes out to balcony for side view of ocean does not lock- which is right at where the sleeper sofa is.. let them know and they send a guy up and he says he can’t fix it that maybe the piece he needs is in storage and he can’t get to it till in the morning- I explain my concern is because we have the little one ( 4 yr old) and it’s at the bed. He tells me they will fix in morning. No one never fixed the door and no one contacted us about fixing the door - needless to say our vacation stay at the Hyde ( changing names to Lyfe ) was a disaster. There is no customer service and I told the lady at check out she just looks at you like a deer in headlights and says nothing . Sorry but a resort fee removed because you moved us to a down graded room with a WORSE issue that has a door that don’t lock IS NOT OK …. ||Shower floors aren’t very clean so not sure what they use the $120.00 cleaning fee they charge for - definitely is not to clean room, was told to tidy up the second room before we move to it after we went to see it and there was still crumbs all over the kitchen table and stuff in the drawer under tv from previous customer still when we moved into it . Also Remote for TV in living room didn’t work. ||However , I will give credit where credit is due - the beds are awesome (if you get to actually sleep and not worry about your child opening a 34th floor balcony door that does not lock). The security in the resort is great to know it’s there and are very professional ( unlike other resort staff). The pool is nice and the location is great. This place could be a great resort with correct management with great customer service skills , rooms fixed to all working order, actually make sure the rooms are being cleaned and stocked and actually care about the issues that are brought to staff.

It has been a real pleasure to stay here. The place is clean and well kept. Key and visitation policies are a bit strict, but I felt safe and welcomed. It's close to a lot of restaurants and stores. Love the pool and the beach, and the staff was very nice. Would stay here again for sure.
