H-E-B - Grocery store in Odessa - 2501 W University Blvd, USA

Placed a curbside order for 4:30-5. We arrived early as we always do to ensure our groceries are not left out. In the past we have received thawed out products. After waiting for our order for a few minutes, a young girl walks out and rudely tells us to re-check in at 4:30. It was 4:20… so my husband asked if our order was not close to being ready. She looks at us like we are stupid and rudely responds with, “No.” and turns around and leaves. As if we are such an inconvenience for being there on time. I’m sorry we just spent hard earned money at your store. As a customer, if I schedule a pickup time for 4:30-5, I reasonably expect my order to be ready at 4:30. If it’s not though, that’s okay - no need to be completely rude. We ended up receiving our order at 4:55 after watching vehicle after vehicle come and go after us. Maybe hiring workers and management that do not have spiteful mentalities should be the way to go.

I stopped here on my way to my hotel stay. Always pleased with when variety and selection at HEB. I got some sushi and it was amazing and the prices on Wednesday was amazing as they run a promotion. There were so many varieties of dessert, meal prep, seafood and produce I was actually surprised at the high level of variety. They also had a cool BBQ restaurant inside that features BBQ brisket enchiladas and an amazing cherry cobbler. A plus in every way!!!

I used to be security at this location and the manager (Lisa) was always very disrespectful to me. She would talk down to me with a very rude tone and attitude. I reported her but my concern is why is she even manager? When so many before me had the same issue with her? I've just never met a unprofessional manager or store before so, if anyone is thinking about being security at this location don't. The other HEB in 42nd will treat u better and have your back in every decision or choice that you make as long as your doing your job right.

I love HEB. What I don't love is trying to pick up my curbside and no parking spots available. Cones are blocking spots and people who are going inside to shop are parking in curbside. Their security needs to watch this. I feel like a Karen today, but I'm perturbed......It's curbside, not open parking. West side Odessa

Everytime I've gone to HEB after 9pm, they are already stocking shelves & most of the isles you either can't get down because they have pallets of items blocking the way down or you can't get to an item you need. I understand needing to restock but why can't they at least wait until the store is closed at 11 pm? People are still trying to get their shopping done & for what you pay for groceries nowadays, I think it's disrespectful to their customers who are trying to do their shopping....and no I can't go earlier due to my work schedule. Also & this may seem petty but 90% of the time, I'm not even acknowledged by the cashier when I walk up OR leave. A simple acknowledgement of the customer with a hello & a thank you when I'm leaving after spending several hundred dollars at your store would be nice because HEB is not the only grocery store in Odessa, TX. Do better HEB!!!

Never again! May a special pox fall upon the greedheads that run this store that offers nothing other than the king size carts to shop with (hoping, I'm sure you will fill them to the brim). As an 86 year old 5' woman, it was untold torture trying to get around with a cart that came to my chin. What a farce you are! Customer oriented? Not even close. Let me know if you ever offer smaller carts for those unable to handle the large ones....until then, there is always United, a store that DOES emphasize customer service.

Love this HEB meat and fish are always fresh you can always find whatever you need for a cookout or for regular grocery shopping. Also love the sushi they make

Did not have a pleasant purchase from this location. First I bought 2 briskets for my daughter’s birthday party on 6/22 and placed an order for a cake paid in full for pick up on Saturday 6/24. I go to start prepping the brisket on 6/24 at 1am just to open one of the two briskets with a horrible smell coming from it. I had another person smell it and they also said it smelt bad. Then Saturday on picking up the cake they got the color wrong. Boarder was supposed to be pink and they did it in blue. This location failed me terribly. Thankfully I had a cow close by I was able to put down and get the brisket for my daughter’s party from there but still a waste of 50$ spent here on that one brisket and 60$on the cake. I’m doubtful that I’d be ordering a cake or buying a brisket from here again.
