GYROVILLE PLANTATION - Mediterranean restaurant in Plantation - 801 S University Dr, USA

Soo good! We recently went for the first time and loved it. Not only was the service great but the food was delicious as well. We tried the mixed platter with chicken and gyro as well as the mixed pita and loved both The ambience was great as well, they have both indoor and outdoor seating so that was perfect. Can’t wait to go back!

Walking in the store it’s nice and clean. I was immediately greeted with a smile and told I’d be helped in just a moment while the gentleman finished up with the previous customer. I ordered my go to Traditional Gyro. It was delicious! I added the falafel with some tzatziki sauce. I think they may have needed to cook slightly longer but they were alright, maybe next time I’ll grab the fries. Anyways the location is great with plenty of stores to walk off a fully belly. I’m sure I’ll be back!

Located in The Fountains plaza, Gyroville is a casual place that serves Mediterranean gyros, salads, rice, wraps, fresh veggies and sauces. After overlooking the menu, I decided to try the traditional gyro which was topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and tzatziki sauce on a warm pita bread (omitting the red onions) with fries and a small coke. I received my food and sat at an available table. The fries was hot, crispy, and lightly seasoned. The gyro was tender and flavorful. I only managed to take a few bites of everything before wrapping it up to take home. Interesting experience.

We decided to try Gyroville Plantation as we recently moved to the area and it was not a pleasant experience. The staff would not honor our coupon for a free build your own pita with the purchase of one build your own pita and two drinks which we purchased. The coupon was from a fundraising book that we purchased and this location is noted on the coupon as a participating location. Paying full price for our two meals was not the biggest issue, however, the attendant was very unfriendly, not helpful, and immediately bagged our food items to go when we planned on eating in. I checked the time to see if we entered the store close to closing time, however it was well before 9pm. The customer service was horrible and now I understand why the establishment was empty when we walked in. The worker made us feel like he was very annoyed that we even walked into the place for dinner.

When you do go!? Ask for Nathan! Coolest Bahamian brother working there.. he’s legit. Takes his time with the food and will make you laugh while doing it. Food here is consistent and straight to the point. Reminds me of a late night Halal spot in Brooklyn vibes. I eat here a few times a month! It’s close by to my Tesla charging station so I just walk over and eat while I charge. TREAT YO SELF! Poetic Approved! 👊🏽

The food was so bad. We ordered the mixed grill platter and a gyro on ubereats. The portion was so small. The meat was old and scrappy, the lamb given was the bits that fall off when slicing. It was stale, the chicken was dry I will never eat here again. Shame on them for serving such bad food. I know they could do better but i won"t be giving them the chance to do so. Will not be eating here again EVER!

This place is very nice, fresh meat cooked in front of you. Everything was fresh. I got the 2 meat wrap. I wish I would have eaten it there for the hot freshness of it all. The staff was very friendly and gave great recommendations on what to try. 4 stars only because the gyro slices meat was a bit too salty for my taste. But everything else was amazing. The picture is what it looked like when I finally got home and was ready to eat. I would have made a mess if I would have tried to eat it folded because it was packed with meat and toppings.

I love gyros and so today when I was craving one I decided to order one from this location. I have been here before and had good service and the food was tasty. I was in a rush so I ordered to go and I was in complete disbelief when I picked up my order. Of course being picked up, I didn’t look my items I just went ahead and trusted them but when I opened the bag I couldn’t believe that This was even a gyro, it was a complete mess, the sauce everywhere and it wasn’t even wrapped properly. I also ordered a side of the grape leaf and online it shows a side is an quantity of five and again when I opened the box there was only a quantity of four, not a big issue but a little disappointed considering I saw a side order on their website contain a quantity of five. My experience with the workers was pleasant but this is just unacceptable. I walked in to find only one customer dining in and at least five workers behind the counter now I don’t know how busy their orders were but I picked up my order at 1:30 PM today and opening this was gross. Unappetizin and disappointing.
