I hate to take stars away from a nice family owned neighborhood spot, because they are very friendly and the service is amazing. But the food left much to be desired, unfortunately. The Grecian 1/2 chicken dinner : rice was good, chicken was bland , pita was stale , salad was very fresh and delicious though! Came back to order more food another day , and the fries were undercooked and limped. Mom didn’t like her fish sandwich, said it was dry and unseasoned. Bun was toasted too hard. I don’t eat gyro so the only other thing I’d be willing to give them a 3rd chance on is a hot dog and polish. Really hard to mess those up.
We found this place for a traditional Chicago Dog that was nearby and it did not disappoint! Only thing missing was the poppy seeds on the buns. Good job! We'll be back. Mostly outside seating.
I went there looking for a gyro. I was not expecting it to be as great as it is. The experience was exceptional. The crew working made sure my food was hot and exactly as ordered. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I have been here a few times and each time the food has been awesome 👌 a place near my home I can get some rib tips 😋 I'm there. The good Mozzarella sticks. And my wife likes their gyros. They have the breaded wings which I don't care for I like the non breaded but non the less the food is still good I'm slowly gonna try everything on the menu ohhh yeah 😉
Got the burger that comes topped with Gyro meat. I believe it's called the monster burger. Burger was amazing. Would definitely recommend it. The frys need salt, but that's an easy fix. Staff was friendly. They were trying their best to get orders out fast. You can tell they had a couple of new employees. It's not a big deal, though. New employees have to start some where.
They Specialize in Gyro's. They are a bit pricey. $14 for a Gyro meal (Gyro, fries and soda). The meat is not as seasoned as most Gyro's. Usually a Gyro leaves a lasting taste and smell for hours, this one was so bland. There was a shortage of toppings and sauce. Very clean and friendly place. I would visit again and try something else but was very disappointed about the Gyro at a place called Gyro Pit. I would not recommend this place foe a Gyro.
Ate here twice so far both times food was fire. Good portions for the price and doesn’t taste like every other gyro place. Highly recommend this place for a gyro plate in aurora.
GREAT place!! You can tell the gyro meat is real and sliced to order and not that frozen stuff just tossed on a flat top. I appreciate that. Friendly people, reasonable prices, good service. I'll be back.
