YUM. The portions were good and the taste of the food was even better. I've been hearing about Gus's for years and finally decided to give it a try and was not disappointed. I love spicy chicken & it was just the right amount of spice and cooked perfectly. I also had fries & the mac and cheese as a side, both very tasty. I don't remember our servers name but he did a good job and continued to check on us throughout our meal. I will definitely be back again!

Food was amazing, I'm so glad this opened up in lees summit, fried pickles were amazing, well seasoned, fried chicken was Hot and Fresh. Me and my guest both tried the white and dark meat, juicy, hot meat. Shelby was an amazing hostess who was on top of everything, super kind and friendly who would always stop by and refill your drink. Definitely going to come back and try their pies. Environment was clean and overall friendly atmosphere.

I have never had an issue with Gus’s chicken is always excellent. Today I wanted to try out the sweet potato pie. When I got home look like someone broke off a piece of pie. This is unacceptable see the picture. I will go again but will check my order before I leave.

Update 12.2023 ..adding more pics . Finally came back got a 3 piece white plate with fries and mac n cheese and 2 tenders on side.. would easily feed 3 people. tenders where great size ..chicken fresh and juicy . sides are good. fast service ordered online again. /// I am glad I went to the lees summit location. ordered a half chicken with extra leg and fries online. arrived to pick up food was ready..in and out. person at counter was friendly. food was hot and fresh and order was correct! we tore that chicken UP. I'm getting more today

The customer service was great. The food was just ok. It was very fresh and made to order but it lacked flavor. No spice or seasoned taste on the chicken, cole slaw and fries were bland! ! Hot sauce didn’t even help. The waitress was great and attentive which made up for the bland food. I don’t think I’ll be back.

The chicken is good but even the tenders have some spice. I rated the food lower because of the sides. They are okay. I had the mac and cheese and beans. The mac seems to be from a box and the beans are definitely straight from a can. They aren't terrible but having homemade would knock this place out of the park cause the chicken is great. Definitely recommend checking it out.

Came in for the first time to give it a try. Very affordable! The chicken is spicy, but not too spicy. The greens were good, and baked beans were similar to canned. Overall, it's a good place for chicken. Would definitely eat the chicken again!
