Gurnee Mills Mall - Shopping mall in Gurnee - 5688 Northridge Dr, USA

On 18th April 2010. My very first trip to USA, and this is my first impression experience! Moments before a security guard threatened to escort me out of the mall if I continue to take this "harmless" shot. This is racial profiling!

Kay's stated they couldn't clean my jewelry as they were too busy and to not come during the holidays for cleaning. However, you're supposed to go every 6 months for your warranty to be valid. The management has obviously changed here and it is terrible! You are better off shopping at a jewelry store that will not scam you on false products.

Nice outlet mall in great location. Good layout. Many great name brand stores. Clean and was not too busy.

I have LOVED this mall since my teens because it has everything you can want. It's huge and everything is conveniently located on 1 floor (NO 2nd floors, elevators, or escalators) and I absolutely ADORE it!!!! A shopper's paradise!

Visiting for the holidays and we decided to go to this mall. Should have never even boughter to go. My children were racially profiled by mall security or officers there. The way they spoke to my children even when my adult daughter approached as we were at the other end of the mall. Was very unprofessional and disrespectful. They were accused without any evidence of that action. When we approached they completely change their story and said " we can kick anyone for any reason" when asked them to go back and see cameras if my children did do what they kept accusing them of I will personally make them apologize. If they didn't, they would need to apologize. Their response was that we were not reviewing anything. When they had just told my daughter, they would go and see the cameras and charge them for assaulting an officer. The officer truly overreacted over the smallest thing and picked on 3 teenage kids who at no point were disrespectful and didn't do what they were being accused of. When I asked the officer if he saw them, he said NO, but they were laughing was his response. They are kids walking and talking among each other and laughing at something else. The manager of the mall who was there had no words to say. The entire time, the officer was speaking for him. I looked around the 4 officers and mall manager, all being caucasians. This was truly the first ever racial profile experience we had at a mall and over the officer saying he was HIT BY A GUMMY that he didn't see where it came from. We had just walked into the mall 15 minutes in, and kids had no candy on them. As well watch out in food court their prices posted do not match what they charge you as well. Worst mall I have ever been to.

We are from Wisconsin but we like visiting The Gurnee Mills Mall. Our closet Mall is The Southridge Mall in Greendale, Wisconsin. Both The Southridge Mall and The Gurnee Mills Mall are owned by Simon. We wish that The Southridge Mall had some of the stores and places that The Gurnee Mills Mall has, such as The Ice Rink, The Belvedere Blues, and some other stores

I really loved the jewelry. It looks beautiful, but I bought a set of 6 nose rings. The gems on all of them fell off within 8 days.

This mall is huge. I go to the cinema a lot. It is very nice. Sometimes I go to the mall to get exercise when it is bad weather outside. It is a huge mall and you do a lot of walking. If you don't want to walk a lot just park near the store you are going to go to.
