WOW... what a GREAT dining experience. One of the best meals we had while visiting Alaska. A real gem of a place . The gumbo was delicious and filled with fresh seafood, chicken and sausage. Don't miss the fantastic cornbread it is served warm and just scrumptious!! We had bread pudding that was unbelievably served warm and fresh made every day. Get there early before they run out as it is amazingly good!!!!! Anna the owner was so pleasant and helpful in proudly explaining the details of how everything is freshly made. Judith our server was so very friendly it was like being welcomed into someone's home to eat!!!
Nice family run restaurant. Blackened catfish was good, po boy was really good, and the coleslaw was really good. The kitchen sink gumbo had a good amount of meat in it but had that bitter flavor like they burnt the roux.
I've had creole cooking so having Cajun was a first. The fried chicken po boy was amazing and so were the quesadillas. The gumbo, red rice and jambalaya plate was ok.
We came here looking for the best bread pudding (as mentioned in other reviews) and it did not disappoint! VERY delicious food that feels homemade and rich in flavor. (We got the brisket and shrimp poboys with gumbo.) The service was amazing (Chris was very happy and outgoing!) Overall I would recommend to anyone looking for a good atmosphere with great hospitality and homey food! Also good parking nearby.
Best shrimp bisque I've ever had. The bread and shrimp & chicken pasta was good too. My wife loved the blackened fish but said the gumbo was too smokey tasting
I went there for my very first time for Fat Tuesday 2023. Was super excited. My table ordered fried calamari, BBQ shrimp and fried okra, and the grilled chicken wing appetizers. They were all delicious. For entrees we got the gumbo and fried cat fish dinner. Everyone was happy with their gumbo. My cat fish was over cooked in old grease. It was nothing like New Orleans style food. Super disappointed. The service was terrible. The restaurant was not crowded at all. We waited 30 minutes for drinks. We're never offered water refills. Second round of drinks from the bar took at least 15 min. The waitress blamed a high volume of to go orders. While that may be the case we chose to come as a larger group who paid for parking for 5 vehicles to have a dine in experience. People that are in your restaurant should take precedence over to go orders. Sorry not sorry. Will try again and hope for better results. Wanna give 2.5 stars but rounding up to be nice.
My first Cajun food experience! The jambalaya was really tasty and I would recommend it. The BBQ Po’Boy was decent and more than I could possibly finish. Service was friendly and helpful, and the live music adds to an unique ambience.
I was nervous to eat here as I'm from Louisiana & skeptical of any "Cajun" restaurant outside of Louisiana. My mom cooks authentic cajun food so I know I'm a hard critic. But I decided to go. I ordered the jambalaya, shrimp & crawfish étouffée, & shrimp bisque (same order as photo). The jambalaya surprisingly tasted a bit like my Nana's étouffée (definitely wouldn't call it jambalaya). The étouffée was a good étouffée. The bisque was watery & lacked texture (only having shrimp) but the flavor was good. The spices were there. Definitely not authentic cajun but could pass as creole, very NOLA vibe. My waiter Cris was very kind & attentive. I would go back for the étouffée.
I was in town this December and was looking for an F45 to help maintain during the holidays. This gym welcomed me in and treated me like a member. Even offering to drive through the snow to pick me up for class Christmas Day. Iâll definitely be ba
Jay is great! He pushes you hard, but is super mindful of your body's limits. I told him about some previous injuries, and he has worked hard to help strengthen those areas, minimizing my aches and pains. My balance and stability have improved. I hav
My CrossFit Northern Exposure experience began 4 months ago. I have been extremely impressed with the knowledge levels of all the staff and especially Emily. Being almost 70 and having a number of "issues" I was guided through the WODs in such a way

First time going and will definitely not be the last! Great atmosphere! The axe masters were attentive and newbies like myself, the best corrections when needed. They teach how to throw everything they have, from ninja stars to shovels. High recommen
