Came down to Port St. Joe for Vacay September of 2023, love this area!
So calm, peaceful & pleasant!
I noticed the park driving by and decided to check it out on my morning walk!
I was impressed with their tribute to the armed forces!
Plenty of space...there is a field to the back of the lot, soccer,football, rugby, Volleyball, frisbee, hayrides, croquet.......archery🥴
You could do all sorts of things out there,
There is also a small amphitheatre as well!
All right across the street from the beautiful Gulf of Mexico!

You must stop and take a few minutes to take in the beautiful Veterans Memorial Park on Hwy 98 in Gulf County, Florida.
It also is a great picnic and bathroom break on the amazing HWY 98 drive through paradise. A giant heart felt "Thank You" to all who have served this Great Nation.
Such a beautiful memorial for all of our veterans. My husband and I enjoyed walking around the park area. It was so inspiring to see a city come together and raise money for this beautiful project. So many wonderful people contributing and making it happen.
Was a breathe of fresh air and a very nice salute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice of us all! My sons in the air force and knowing first hand how much he sacrifices each day along with all of us that loves and misses our hero! Its hard being away for months and even years on everyone involved. So to know that some of us do appreciate and recognize the all each soldier has given and still gives is just beautiful. I recommend if your in the area to take 5 mins to walk to the park and say a little prayer and salute those who gave their all.

Beautiful memorial, well done! They have a QR code posted on a sign at the parking lot with a great video explaining the purpose and work that went into the memorial as well.

Very appealing veterans memorial with branch of service flags and memorial monuments. Nice public park with private restrooms and an outdoor shower. Covered picnic tables. Ample parking. Walkway to the beach with a pedestrian crossing at US98.
All gave some and some gave all.... Beautiful memorial, my heart and prayers go out to those who are rebuilding from the devastation of hurricane Michael 10/2018. Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe, You are loved!!!
