Scariest scene to had ever pulled in upon, people sitting across from the place smoking crack pipes & blunts waving at me. I didn't even get out of the vehicle. The vibe was nerving as all get out certainly not inviting by no means. Do not recommend to anyone.

The most roach 🪳 infested hotel I’ve ever been to. So bad they put roach powder every where like that’s supposed to do something… I even have videos of the roaches 🪳 in action but this doesn’t accept videos.

Store next door was a terrible site but the hotel grounds were clean, and well kept. No people hanging outside the premises anywhere. Very very quiet all night. Room was very clean. Especially the floor. It was actually cleaner than our hotel in Valdosta Ga at Holiday Inn Express. That made me extra 😊. I was Shocked to say the least of the condition of the room. None of those ugly hotel blankets. Same blankets We had at Holiday Inn. HEAD BOARD was nicer though🙂 For a 1 nighter passing through… I would definitely stay here again. Great Job NEW MANAGEMENT.

Okay let me preface this with one important thing: As long as you mind your own business and aren't afraid to say no then the folks outside in the lot and at the neighboring station won't bother you. If you're to good to be around poor people and let's face it real ATL African americans or you're scared of a small amount of hood activity, and if homeless people in need asking you for spare change or food makes you feel icky, then go ahead and count the place as a last resort. If you can ignore the goings on of outside and mind your own business( which always should be the go to attitude of everyone always) then this place is a wonderful steal where they, for the most part leave you alone. My fiance and i ( Mw28, Fw26)arrived and were going to try a day to see if we liked our visit as we are looking for a new extended stay but the rate was $100 a night. A far cry from the $65 that will be advertised every where online. Only after we told him our situation and pulled out a credit card with matching ID did the 'on duty' clerk give us a reasonable, very generous price for the week, worth the little bit of haggling I had to do and once you show you're not a rich idiot they let their guard down and that's the best advice I can give. Gave us fresh towels, TP and 2 door keys without asking! I prefer my bathing necessities and other normal inclusions already be in the room, when we inspected inside our room there was no extras such as soap , shampoo, hand towels, extra sheets, hairdryer, coffee supplies, and worst of all no microwave. I'm not sure if this is a hotel wide error but I hope not that's sort of ridiculous with the traffic outside, but nonetheless the gas station has a microwave and they are cool with you heating stuff. Fairly clean and nice surrounding business also add to the experience especially for extended stay guests with no car, Dairy Queen, Gas station and Taco Bell are practically in the parking lot, that was a relief considering no continental breakfast, in fact I'm pretty sure the lobby and clerks desk were off limits to non staff. Okay THE ROOM.... Was beyond nice, so don't judge a book by the big plywood covered hole on the cover(car wreck??) I was taken aback by the classic interstate adjacent motel aesthetics and far more expensive hotel type of cleanliness, that left me feeliny very close to God! A good measure of a rooms nice-ness is how fast my fiance takes a shower and I was recovering from the pleasant surprise of our rooms quality and didn't realized she bathed and prepared food on the provided table, without a comment on how worthy the staff was of being sacrificed or "deleted" ! That's an A plus in my book! ( ZR ultimate platinum 69th prestige alpha SSS RANK for my gamers out there!) I would 100% stay again and had a quiet nice week in my room with my fiance. There was one huge, bold, and unacceptable error in judgement made. Out of nowhere the janitor unlocked our door, poked his head in our room and as he started awkwardly mumbling at us his body followed, i immediately approached and politely told him that another uninvited entrance would end differently and he stayed away until the day before we were set to leave they changed our towels while we were out, i was unhappy but this couldve been due to a new shift, so i let it go. After several mentions of our desire for 'room service' type visits as well as any other visits from the staff to be excluded from our stay and make us mad and uncomfortable this was as forementioned unacceptable and I hope not the norm. Didn't complain for the janitors sake as I don't believe he meant harm but keep your door bolted if you feel like us, It's not worth the chance. And besides that we were please and agreed that we had a 4.5 Star stay for the week but would continue to search for the right extended stay for us.

The front desk clerk is very disrespectful and racist. He would not allow my son to check in after being discharged from the hospital. They were paid for two days. He was trying to pocket the money and kept claiming that the payment was never received after we got our confirmation and booking number. Their goal is to keep your money and won't allow you on property.

Nice place in a bad area. Rooms were exceptional, staff was alright enough. Fridge but no microwave. Good amount of things to do and food to eat in walking distance. Would stay again.

More than adequate. Was surprised by the room cleanliness and staff. This hotel is one of Decatur's best kept secrets. 5 star experience at a 2 star hotel. This will be my first choice when in the area from now on!!!!

Great staff!!!! Very clean rooms, house keeping does a great job. Sketchy area but keep to yourself no one bothers you. The king beds are very large and very soft and comfortable. If there is anything wrong during your stay the staff will be sure to fix it unlike other family owned businesses who blame you for the discomfort or damaged items. Very busy on the weekends so book early. Close to the high way so it can get traffic noisy. Cleanest hotel in this area. Great of you're not looking for a 5 star hotel or complain about every tiny thing .I've learned to ignore the people asking for food and money. Change the world if they disgust you. Say no and they leave you alone. If you're on a budget or transitioning this is the place to spend your money. They are constantly working to make their rooms better. A great staff that cares about their business!!!
