The Guild House Hotel was luxury at its finest! The decor was stunning and the rooms incredibly comfortable. As history lovers, we found it endlessly fascinating to learn about the women who inspired each room. The hotel has considered every detail from the perfect linens, to amazing toiletries, and comfortable bathrobes. We booked four suites and had an amazing time. The hotel is near so many great restaurants and attractions, but the rooms are completely quiet.

A unique hotel with history and a very nice decor to enhance any stay while traveling. We stayed there for a couple days during the New Year's Holiday and had a wonderful experience. Great location in the middle of the city, safe and close to everything; restaurants, museums, all the attractions the city has to offer. I would highly recommend staying at the Guild House while in Philadelphia.

We bought out 11 rooms and the common spaces in the Guild House for our wedding and couldn't recommend it more! The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and have so many fun details (we especially loved the Alice and its piano and giant living room). The service was outstanding -- we had a lot of last minute asks from the staff and they always responded quickly and professionally. We used the lounge for a brunch for ~35 people and it was perfect! Lots of people commented on how pretty and unique it was, noting it was a great way to end the wedding weekend. The location is also solid for exploring Philly -- it's about 30mins walking to any of the ends of Center City and right around the corner from some of Philly's better restaurants.

Just completed three nights at Guild House and wanted to write a prompt and enthusiastic review. I loved my room in the Gabrielle suite and would return to the hotel whenever in Philadelphia. Great location. Beautiful restoration of an architecturally significant building. While the site doesn’t have anyone physically present there was always prompt service available by text.

This hotel was perfect in every way.||We stayed in the Matilde room on the first floor for one night. This room is spacious and has a kitchenette.||During my stay I did not see anyone else in the building at all, which is a bit strange, but I actually loved it. The “invisible service” was actually very diligent and good at keeping everything tidy. The entire place was super clean.||Starting with the best things first:||The bed gave me the most comfortable night’s sleep I’ve ever had. And the shower and bathroom provided the best hotel shower I’ve ever had.||Aside from that, my favorite things were the many special details. Some of those include the baked snacks left in our room (coffee cake & lemon coconut bar), the filtered and sparkling water available on tap in the lobby, the text message concierge, the extra towels in the bathroom (6), and the period authentic decor.||When I booked our stay it wasn’t super clear about what’s included in the kitchenette. Ours had a very roomy mini fridge with wine rack, electric tea kettle, coffee maker, microwave, plates, bowls, glasses, utensils, mixing bowls, cutting board, and other things.||I honestly can’t think of a downside to this place. ||Note: The closest parking lots are $34 or $37 for 24 hours and you can’t move your car during that time.||When in Philadelphia, definitely stay at Guild House Hotel. You won’t be disappointed!

The Guild House Hotel is gorgeous. I booked it primarily for aesthetic reasons, but was pleased to discover that it was also very centrally located in Philly’s City Center area. All of the primary tourist destinations were walkable (the art museums - Barnes, Rodin - were a longer walk). The entire process of booking and being welcomed to the hotel was incredibly seamless and the team was very accommodating of an early check in which was appreciated. Our room was so lovely and I loved the extras - the snacks/beverages but also the small details in the bathrooms etc. The design was thoughtful and beautiful, the hotel is a great value in this regard! I loved the first floor common room but suspect it doesn’t get used much. I would have loved if there was a small coffee/tea station set up there for the morning, just to have a reason to hang out there for a little bit. Overall a very great choice for anyone who appreciates beauty and history when choosing where to stay.

Absolutely amazing experience and stay. We rented The Alice as a getting ready space for my bridal party and used the lobby for our first look. The staff was very responsive and super accommodating. The rooms were absolutely STUNNING!! Highly recommend.

Great location. Centrally located. Close to everything. The hotel was beautiful. Stepping in was like stepping into a different era (while still enjoying all the modern amenities) . The rooms each have their own style. Common area was great to enjoy a beverage at the end of the day with friends. I would go again.
