Guest Harbor Inn- Port of Los Angeles (San Pedro) - Featured Reviews (47)
The facility is old and the amenities are very dingy for the price. Obviously built in the 50s or early 60s the inn is really screaming for a remodel. There is an extremely low attempt to make the rooms presentable or at least something more than a back woods motel. Compared to others we have stayed at in Burbank on Hollywood Way, the space is clean and insect free. Granted it’s a layover for the cruise line passengers for a single nights stay and they try to make it comfortable with room service. However there is no elevator for the 2nd floor if you’re handicapped or have mobility issues. One warning sign are the security bars on the 1st floor windows which indicates a high possibility of theft. The rate is about $100 a night on average which is high since Motel 6 and others are far more comfortable and modern for a lower price. While there is a table and two chairs, the table is seriously worn with missing pieces to the finish and the chairs are fabric covered in a cheap attempt to make them more than they are. All in all the stay is what it is since there are limited choices of hotels and inns in the area. So if you’re looking to stay in a motel that is a throw back to the old days of Route 66 but with the chance of security issues, this is better than other choice along the 405. We stayed the night and in the morning discovered someone tried to smash open the passenger window and damaged the glass doing it. So, we will not be staying there again and even with their camera system which sometimes worked the owners still did nothing to make anything right or try to make it right.
Overall this is a good hotel to stay at. We stayed before going on cruise and the day after we got back from the cruise. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Come with a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. Queen bed is comfortable enough. (Personally would have like a king size)
The hotel is located close to the port making it easy to catch the cruise. We dropped everyone off at the cruise terminal and parked my truck for the duration of the cruise at the hotel. It was only 10 bucks a day, opposed to 20 at the port. Grabbed a lime scooter and rode back to the port for about 6 bucks. Hotel attendant said cab would be $11.
Hotel is close proximity to restaurants in easy walking distance.
Great option for independent travelers. It's close to the cruise port, clean rooms, outstanding service, and conveniently located near a lot of great places! It is a limited-service motel, so if you're a high-maintenance traveler, it might not be your cup of tea. But if your easy going and just need a place to crash before you set sail, this is the place!!
Great option for cruisers, small motel in great location from Restaurants and the cruise terminal! The manager Sam is a amazing guy caring and loves to do what he does. Very helpful on places to eat and things to do. We had a great experience here. The rooms are very clean amazing bed and bathroom. Sam help arrange a cab for us in the morning. Half the people staying there were on the same cruise and they all stayed there mulitple times while cruising out of Los Angeles!!
We stayed here the night before our cruise. Very close to the port and convent for early morning check in for cruise. The staff was friendly, the check in process was fast and very easy (we requested a handicap room and that was held for us). You could tell it was an older hotel/motel but it had been newly renovated. I don't usually say how nice a bathroom is but this one was beautifully tiled, the room was freshly painted, clean, pretty bedspread and a very comfortable bed. The only small problem is the outlet first the coffee maker didn't work, it would not plug in the outlet. I made coffee standing up in the bathroom on a tray. Not a big deal I still got my morning coffee. I recommend staying here if you plan a cruise and leaving early in the morning.
This is not a fancy place, but it greatly met our requirement. Very clean. Excellent location in San Pedro, within 2-4 blocks of some fine restaurants for both dinner and breakfast. Convenient to the cruise ship, where they booked me a taxi for $11, cheaper than Uber at the time. Especially grateful for the service of Dan, who helped me when I did not book the room reservation properly.
Where do I start first toilet didn't flush ,no microwave, no refrigerator,no phone no coffee maker .it's just bare bones very nice on the out side but very old on the inside .
Bed sucks they do have a flat screen TV and good cable not good wifi would shut off every so often.. if I judt want to sleep and go on your cruise good luck...staff was very on point ..
Walked into a fridge that had leaked all over the floor, towels were stained & the staff was rude. Sad vibes all around :-(
Don’t stay here smh go somewhere else. Not worth the money

Great place to make out very peaceful pretty views on a clear day you can see all the way to Catalina island and Long Beach people and nice and kind I go out there to study sometimes.
Point Fermin Park is a beautiful spot in San Pedro to get nice vistas, enjoy the breeze, feel like youâre away from the city. The natural beauty is amazing, the park is ontop of cliffs so the view bellow is breathtaking. Iâve been coming here for
Animal style burger is the best. The sauce and onions put it over the top especially at that price point. Fries would be better animal style instead of plain.
Small free aquarium with a variety of small to medium fish and sea creatures. Great value given that it's free, though donations are encouraged. The fish and such are fun to look out but don't expect an in depth scientific explanation of their behavi
Yum!! Stayed at the Crown Plaza just a couple of blocks away for a work event in the area. Walked over to San Pedro Cafe for breakfast this morning and wow! Service is prompt and excellent. Food is phenomenal and huge portions. Absolutely the best me
