Came here for a wedding, it was possibly the most memorable weddings I've ever been to. The resort offers separate cabins for guests to stay and plenty of outdoor areas to hang out together.
Incredible water view with Mt. Baker stealing the show.
I will definitely plan on staying there again, and very dog friendly to boot!
Very nice place for a low key destination wedding. Accommodations were nice and varied and having a tent near the beach was fun. The only issue is getting your guests and others on the ferry without a long wait, but they can come early and go to the county park next to the resort and hang out on the beach until check in time.
We stayed in Cowichen cabin right in the water. It was newly renovated and seemed nice. There were small things here and there that had me confused. We used the pull out couch which did have linens but lacked pillows and a comforter. The lamp in that space doesn't turn off all the way which meant we had to unplug it each night. Kitchen was stocked with all you need to cook on the stove and oven which was great. As a visitor you have to remove your own garbage which was fine. I was surprise the amount of cobwebs left by housekeeping.
Location is great, loved walking around the area, great view, quiet except for garbage and recycle trucks that come before 7 am on Wednesday morning. The additional services are nice, sauna, hot tub, there is limited time that you get to use them though. Staff was great, Jan took good care of us and thanks for the lamp in the sauna.
The staff are amazing. The view is outstanding. A wonderfully quite place to get away and connect with nature.
We spent 4 days at the resort in the last week of June and thoroughly enjoyed the retreat. Very relaxed venue with beautiful views and a great safe environment for children. The resort staff are very accommodating. Joey the do it all resort guy was especially helpful and friendly. Will definitely come back.
This place was pretty amazing! The staff treated us so well, esp Joey.
Loved being able to access Jack Island by rowboat/canoe/kayak.
And amazingly pet friendly!
The sauna and Dutch tub were splendly amazingly. The view was esp gorgeous
This is a wonderful place to escape from your daily routine and stress. We rented Samish cabin for two nights. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Terrific view from the window too. Perfect accommodation, excellent location, friendly and efficient staff.
We took a kayak and a rowing boat to get to (and around) Jack Island, walked the forest loop trail and spent much time on the beach. All in a day and a half. Great place and a way to reboot yourself.
The internet was constantly buffering and weak. Nothing would load . very frustrating mold in the shared bathrooms. We were staying 5 days, and a sheet change costs 65$. They charge more and more each year. It's becoming less and less worth the price. They don't seem to change the soap bars between guests. The guemes house is where we stayed . They have started to out price family's that would return evrey year
