It's a beautiful, well-kept state park. They have so many camping sites. The shower house is big, old but nice. There are so many hiking trails and beautiful rivers. We saw a family of deer when driving to the campground.

Stayed during January 2024. Site 79. Pros: Very Nice place. The bathrooms are so nice and look to be new. Site # 79 was great and felt private. Cons: Bathhouse SHOWER ROOMS were not heated while we were there. I’m not sure if they have heaters in them at any time. Not good when the temps get down to the 40’s and lower during your stay. The bathroom/toilet area did have heaters and they were plenty warm. We will stay again, but when the weather is warmer.

Low water level, but great trails! Such beautiful trees by the water and their roots are amazing. Would love to go when there isn’t a drought. Good shade by the water! Would recommend bringing your own water, it looks pretty cloudy from the fountains. And the rangers were so nice and helpful! Very informative.

It is a place that has a lot of hiking options, beautiful views, if you pay attention you will see Birds, Deers, Armadillos, they also have a discovery center, it is small but the explain a lot of the animals that you can found in the area. The restrooms are clean and they parking options. Recommended!

11/14/'23 at Guadalupe state park absolutely gorgeous, water is low but  flowing. No tubbing or kayaking. This is a gem, this was our first time although we lived in cedar Park for 17 years (shame on us) The restroom facilities are well taken care of by the "female" volunteers 👍 (they did a better job than the male volunteers) and it's climate controlled. There's also a nice setup for tents. Had a chance to capture a close up from an armadillo.

Low water in October and cold but super nice. Tranquil sounds. Pictures views. Clean bathrooms that are cleaned twice days. Highly recommended. Limited 4g/5g service but it came in and out.

Every single staff or volunteer we encountered were not only friendly, but knowledgeable on everything within the area offering suggestions, stories, and help our entire stay. It helped me to feel comfortable and more safe with the kids to see them always out and around the grounds doing some sort of task for the park. The park always seemed to be running efficiently in that daily you saw the activities and guides…as well as campers following the structure and rules of the facilities without any issues…it was a great experience and atmosphere and we can’t wait to go back to such a beautiful part of Texas. Thanks GSP! Much love from Corpus Corpus, Texas.

I am here at the State Park as a park host. Staff here is great. Trent best park rangers. JT is great. The park is clean and taken care of. And you feel safe. So much fun. Little hot but it is great. All of Texas is hot in the Summer. If you ever want to go camping come to the Guadalupe River State Park.

My wife and I really enjoyed this restaurant. The staff was very friendly, service was quick (only a 20 minute wait to be seated at 6pm on a Saturday night), and the food was delicious. We had chips and queso as an appetizer which was very good. I ha

I'm giving five stars even though they were prioritizing drive-through customers, and those of us inside the restaurant had to wait even to be acknowledged. Despite a wait, the employees were genuinely nice and gave great service when it finally came
