Great place to have your children play. The yh got basically everything to keep your child occupy and seats for parents but one thing the environment isn't completely clean. Beware of mosquitoes especially when it starts getting dark.
I take my son here on occasion to ride his scooter; and at times when I need to walk and enjoy the quietness, and the beautiful greenery nature has to offer, I walk the perimeter. People seem friendly and in their zone, which is nice...offering a smile of, "hello" and keeping it moving.
I have been coming to this park for many years and I always find it to be clean and very peaceful. Nice neighborhood park.Frequented by a very diverse and friendly community. Never overly crowded. Nice walking path and playground area. Easily accessible and visible from South Orange Ave. Walking distance from S.O. police station, Seton Hall University and South Orange Village.
Took my grandson's to see the full moon, it was the only place it could be seen the neighborhood
I was here on September 6, 2021 with a friend of mine. It's well kept. The swings & rides are great for the children. Despite the recent storm, it wasn't water damaged. I did notice there are LESS BENCHES For sitting. When you enter from Grove Rd. at the circle under the tree, the 2 benches are NO LONGER THERE.
Nice local trail in this small but beautiful park which was great for exercise and has a nice play area for children and cute benches if you just want to relax and enjoy the weather.
My experience at this park is invariably great. It's a tranquil little well maintained park with a play area for children, a small track which I'm guessing is about 1/4 mile. Benches are stationed throughout. This park is super for relaxation or a small romantic picnic. Winter, spring, summer or fall it's ideal for all seasons.
