I went to the library today to fax papers for my friend and when I say papers I mean like 32 pages 😱! Let’s start at the beginning which is a very good place to start 😂. I had read on the website about faxing documents and it said no charge so I was amped at this so I went to a machine ready to start my chore and this library lady approached me and asked if I needed help. I told her I needed to fax papers and I said it’s free according to your website she said what? I handed her my phone and she said that’s not right so right away I’m ready for battle she said can I read it again I gave her my phone and she said I’m sorry but this is Groton public library in Groton Mass ! You can imagine! Anyway long story short this lady is the sweetest and nicest person I’ve ever met in the library her name is Jeri and I want her to get recognition for her work! Thank you so much Jeri 🥰😍

The staff are the best and there’s a lovely quiet place to work or study or just read. They have really great hours too.
I love this library. Many activities for kids and adults. Many options of media (books, movies, video games, audio books ect) great crafts for kids to take home and a great summer reading program.

My husband Joe and I spend a bit of time at the library. It's so open and airy. The girls who work there are very friendly and always know where anything might be and how to find things easily. It's a fun time of our days and I've started reading.
Excellent selection for all ages & interests, but more important is the support staff. The reference desk has helped me locate pretty arcane books at other CT libraries with great efficiency. The hands-on programs for kids are engaging. And there always seems to be some kind of program (exhibits, lectures, activities) for adults. Come in and check it out!!
