Gritty McDuff's Brew Pub - Brewpub in Auburn - 68 Main St, USA

This place was a great find along the river in auburn. Tons of indoor seating, big bar, live music, good beer selection, small outside area overlooking the river and river walk. The menu is good, it took awhile to get the food and there weren’t that many people there but we were not in a rush. The food was worth the wait: lobster roll was great, lobster tacos were yummy and pulled pork sandwich was great! Their fries are also good. We will be back.

The atmosphere at this place seems like it would be really fun with lots of friends who like beer. All of the food I ordered came in a timely manner. The food is not great. It's ok nothing to write home about. The food seemed to be missing the salt or whatever seasonings. I ordered beer batter fried mushrooms. They came with one little container of sauce so about half way through we had to ask for more sauce. I also had a Reuben sandwich which was good but nothing to write home about. Very little seasoning again. Nice atmosphere not great food. Maybe it would have been better for me if I was a beer drinker. The waitress was nice and attentive.

Fantastic place for lunch with great views! The best make your own burger and fries we've had in a while (add chili!), great chicken wings, and don't oversee their desserts. Chocolate peanut butter cake bomb was delicious 😋 (and we don't even usually do desserts). Great views of the Androscoggin River, and prices are reasonable. We'll be back!

Just okay. It was kind of a quiet Saturday night, and the place was a little empty. The food was good but just pub grub. They were out of corn bread of all things when I ordered my chili. It's not a big deal, but corn bread takes 15 minutes to make folks. There were three servers. Everyone was nice but not very attentive.

Great place with a view! Grab a table outside by the river walk, but do yourself a favor and walk first, then eat and drink. This place has some heavy food and large portions, add in several beers and you will hate yourself for having stuffed yourself yet again. The food is typical bar food, but on the higher end in quality, you certainly can find worse wings and fries. The staff are friendly and quick. Not over the top service, but also no complaints. The place is pretty big, lots of indoor seating, a large bar, and out door sitting. I think there's an outdoor lower level as well?

Place was recommended and our expectations were met. Food and service was great. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for the food is that my blackened haddock burrito wasn't blackened, at least to my standards. It was still very good and maybe I'm so used to spicy foods, the flavor might have been too light. Strongly recommend the place.

Hey guys, just finished an order of your fish tacos. Cooked well and delicious. A suggestion, turn the cabbage into a slaw with your Baja sauce and top with the salsa (which was good). Additionally, for us spicy folk, you make the slaw with the habanero sauce and maybe a mango salsa to top. Thank you for a great dish.
