They do live up to their claim of having the biggest cones in the thumb. 24 flavors of Stroh’s Ice cream and 9 homemade. Competitive prices on the cones not so much on the souvenirs and trinkets. I don’t think the waffle cones are made in house but it was fresh and crispy all the same. No indoor seating. Outdoor bench and picnic table seating with most shaded. Limited lot and street parking. NO indoor restrooms or hand washing stations, just an outdoor porta potty. Young, friendly staff that verbally thank you for your tip. I would return if I was in the area.
This local ice cream shop served delicious ice cream! I got the strawberry cheesecake and it was the perfect ratio. Their scoops are pretty big so 1 scoop should be enough for the regular person, but if you’re in for a challenge then by all means get the double scoop! The line moved fairly fast despite the amount of people. There’s wonderful outdoor seating in both the front and side. Overall, I would recommend this to a friend!
Loved the no sugar added ice cream & the pup cup for my pup!!❤🐾
Wish we had read the reviews before returning, as we'd have known we weren't the only ones experiencing poor customer service from the owner/man behind the register. We were willing to pay full price, but just wanted smaller scoops so as to not throw anything away. Owner aggressively told us they wouldn't do that. That seems like an extremely wasteful business practice to me. And if you want a Styrofoam cup to hold the massive amount of ice cream they require you to take? Those will be 10 cents a piece. No gloves on for any part of the serving process. Young men with long hair not pulled back or covered in any sort of sanitary fashion. Worst of all, our favorite "homemade" flavors all tasted artificial and bland. $45 for 2 double scoops and a 2 prepacked quarts is outrageous for the quality they're providing. We've been coming for years but the quality and service has sadly reached a point that we won't be returning. We'll be trying Rybaks or Blue Moon in Port Austin for our future vacation treats, for sure.
We went because of all the hype. Huge cones at a great price...$4.99...store bought ice cream (Deans) in a cup or a cheap waffle cone. The help is impatient and rude. Not much of a General Store, quite small. Can say we did it and won't go back.
HUGE portions!!! A single scoop is 14 (yes, 14 ounces!!) ounces, and a double is 28 ounces. Good prices, great flavor selection. I was going to order a 2 scoop cone. After the employee explained the portion size, I'm SO glad I got a single
We love hand dipped ice cream. They have a great selection. The menu is on the wall as you walk in. They want you to know what you want before you get to the server. Picnic tables out side. Nice place
Great ice cream with a large selection of flavors. The ice cream is delicious and the scoops are fat! Yummy!!!!

Really good food here. Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday after visiting the farmers market across the street. Maurice salad was delicious and portions were huge. Great service and prime location in downtown Port Austin.
