Cozy room. Loved the kitchen area. Even had a fridge. Very clean. Loved the rustic feel...and the porch. Very friendly. Will be coming back for a quiet retreat often. Needed a place to work on my book...this was it!

Love this place, very rustic but clean. A great place to stay, we love to walk and we covered ever road in the Christopher creek loop area, this place seemed most peaceful with a real cabin feel.

Beautiful and affordable cabins with nice little fireplaces, in a perfect location for getting away, hot water heaters work great, kitchens have everything you need and there's so much to do in the surrounding areas. Second time stay here and it hasn't been disappointing once kinda turning into a birthday tradition and Donna was super helpful. Would definitely recommend.

I took my kids up there for the night to escape the heat and enjoy outdoors. We stayed in cabin 9. Everyone really loved the rustic feel. The kids loved the porch swing and watching the squirrels run up and down the trees. The creek is a short 10 minute walk down the road. The kids were able to play in the water, just be careful because some spots are slippery. At night it was nice being able to have the windows open to let the cool air in. The temperature was in the mid 50’s during the night, no need for air conditioning. Easy trip from the valley and so much better than a hotel. I will for sure stay again.

How happy I was to stumble upon this amazing place! I knew there were cabins in Christopher Creek and after my previous plans didn’t work out, thought maybe there might be a cabin left. I got the last one at 3pm on a Saturday- lucky me! Donna greeted me right away with a smile on her face and a let-me-help-you attitude. She was fantastic from start to finish. I was immediately placed in a quaint one room cabin with a small kitchen. The shower is small so taller people be advised! But it’s a shower in the woods in an awesome cabin with a fireplace so who cares right? Donna offered a Duraflame log for the fire, $4, can’t be beat unless you came prepared which I didn’t. She suggested an amazing hike which I enjoyed the next day; a quiet, moderately tracked trail along the creek just 10 minutes away. The bed was so comfortable, I slept like a baby and enjoyed morning coffee on my porch swing while the sun came up and the bunnies ate grass in the common outdoor BBQ area. Lots of bird sightings, singing and just as peaceful as could be. For the price, the experience and the hospitality, hands down I will be back to enjoy this gem again! Happy glamping :)

We stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin, #10. It was absolutely wonderful! Very friendly people who work there, the cabins are very comfy and cozy. Everything we needed was included, from toilet paper to dishes and silverware. ||||The cabins are very warm inside, and between the fire place and the space heaters inside, we stayed nice and toasty even with it snowing outside. They sell the Duraflame logs in the office which are absolutely amazing. Each log will burn for a few hours. 2 logs lasted us all night. Overall we had an exceptional experience staying here and would highly recommend the Grey Hackle Lodge to anyone! We will definitely be staying here again very soon!

We had a wonderful stay at Grey Hackle. The host, Ingrid, was lovely. She knew how to balance attentiveness with hospitality and we felt we had our privacy. Linda, who cleans the cabins was very sweet. It felt homey and the cabin was very clean. This is a great place to stay with your family. There is a court yard in the middle of the cabin area with picnic tables, a swing and bench seats. I saw many variety of birds while sitting out there, including a Robin, Woodpecker, and Blue Jay. There are games provided in the room, as well as a TV with movies. We never used the TV because we spent our time up at the Rim, which is only a five minute drive.
