Greenlea B&B is a hidden gem in downtown Natchez. The room is spacious, comfortable, and private. The owners have thought of every amenity from snacks and drinks to Tempur-pedic pillows and wifi. The grounds are meticulously maintained, and the setting is so intimate that you won't believe you are in the middle of downtown! The area feels very safe and most things are within walking distance. There is private parking as well. I would recommend Greenlea to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience!
This is a centrally located B&B in the heart of old Natchez. There is only one room (suite). It is on the second floor at the rear of the brick home. It is spacious, furnished tastefully, There is plenty of drawer space for your clothing as well as a large closet for hanging clothes. The bed is king size with top quality linens. The bathroom is ensuite as is a small kitchen with a microwave, coffee pot, and a refrigerator stocked with an assortment of water, soft drinks and beer. The towels and other bath linens are plentiful and fluffy. Stella, the owner is very knowledgeable and helpful in suggesting local dining spots and attractions. If you are bringing some children along, there is a pull down bed in the suite and a table that will seat four. The grounds are immaculately maintained and the neighborhood feels very safe as you may choose to walk two blocks to main street to the north or two blocks to Bluff Park to the west. The area is very quite and light sleepers will have no trouble here. Breakfast is a buffet at the Castle Restaurant located at Dunleith Manor which is about 3/4 mile away. Your breakfast voucher entitles you to a very large, varied and quite good breakfast selection. In addition, after breakfast you will receive a voucher for the the guided tour of Duleith Manor and grounds. I have no reservations in recommending this location to other travelers. I definitely would stay here again.
Couldn't be nicer! Warm host in a the ideal location--heart of Natchez. Beautiful garden with fringe tree in full bloom. The hostess thought of everything...beverages, snacks, and half and half for our coffee in the morning. Breakfast is off-site at a local restaurant wihin close walkiing distance. Absolutely fantastic bed & breakfast- exactly what I have in mind when looking for a quintessential old south B&B. Quaint and peaceful with some of the most amazing gardens I’ve ever seen in Natchez. I was only two blocks from the river and able to walk to all the local attractions. I would highly recommend Greenlea on any visit to Natchez.
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Greenlea for a lovely two nights during the Fall Pilgrimage and we could not have been more comfortable. This is such a beautiful home, excellent convenient location and the host was so very gracious, helpful and knowledgeable that made our stay even better. We hope to return to this lovely place...and the bed....well hands down the most comfortable I have ever slept in.
