The Rockford Peach drink was a refreshing spin on an old fashioned. I had the duck which was fabulous and my parents had the salmon, which has a nice crisp to the edges. The creme Brule was delicious but the coconut cream pie and the key lime pie were not great.
My wife and I got the Brussels for an app and thought it was a little dry. Asked for a side of balsamic and it was very good. Steak was cooked to perfection. I thought it was the best tasting steak I've ever had. The salmon was really good as well. All of our drinks were delicious and seemed to have an appropriate amount of alcohol. Our server was very attentive. The decor of the restaurant was very elegant. Overall we had a very good dinner even tho it was a little costly but we did get 4 drinks each with dinner. Will definitely b going back again.
This was my 4th visit to this amazing restaurant. Four lovely ladies & myself, decided to come for dinner. As was before, the food and service was over the top. For appetizers, we had a dozen Raw Oysters & a dozen Oysters Rockefeller. Our entrées were the Filet Mignon, Rack of Lamb, Asparagus Mushroom Ravioli, Basil Formaggio, with Gluten Free Penne Pasta & a Gluten Free Hawaiian Pizza. Everything was absolutely delicious and prepared perfectly. The Dessert options are amazing, but we had no room for them. Our lovely server was Jamie. She took care of our every need & was definitely on point. She was very polite, professional and just a Sweetheart..... GreenFire you Rock!
Always an absolute pleasure dining at GreenFire. The food is not only the best in town but quite possibly the best Iv had. The New York strip, rack of lamb, any pasta, truffle burger, any burger and not to mention the woodfire pizza. It’s nice to have a place like this in Rockford.
Overall good experience. We had a pleasant dinner. The restaurant is rather loud though. We had to shout to be heard. Dinners were tasty for the most part. The chicken was delicious. The sauce really pulled the meal together. The duck confit was rather bland unfortunately. Artichoke and mushroom pizza was Mmm mm good! Excellent service!
Pretty good mixed drinks. Bartenders need more experience for the price point….but Brandon was wonderful compared to others on his shift with RBF. Also not at all impressed by the cream of chicken soup posing as a crepe. Management should pay closer attention to food quality and service vs that half ounce of whiskey between a rocks and neat pour.
my family and I came in for dinner a couple nights ago and the food and service was amazing. The restaurant was very clean and we were seated almost immediately. The service was fast and our server was super friendly and attentive, often checking in on our table. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. Our lamb and steak was cooked perfectly, the meat was so flavorful and juicy. The shrimp Dijon was so so so good, my personal favorite. The pizza was new for me and was delicious. We will be returning!
The food was great, the service was pretty good and I was seated promptly when I shared that I had a reservation. The issue we had was due to where we were seated. We got a table that was obviously one of the worst tables. There wasn't any point during dinner where we didn't have foot traffic brushing against our chairs. Due to how busy it was, there was a bit of a line at the door and due to the proximity of our table to the front door we were frequently getting cold gusts hitting the table. Next time I'll be requesting a different table if I get seated near the door. There definitely will be a next time because of the food and service though!
