A great place to kill time, just bring a basketball. Or a baseball or a softball or a tennis ball or a squash ball or a football or a soccer ball and that's really all you need. It seems to never get busy here so it's always peaceful. However I did come across this sign which seems a little out of place.
After shopping nearby, I searched for a park and this spot was closest. There were a host of people playing tennis the day I went. I went to walk around a baseball field not far from the tower there. I stopped to read a posting that depicted history. The tale concerned me as it felt threateningly vulgar making me uncomfortable. I don't plan to visit again. I would not recommend this location, but then again maybe I was in the wrong place and clearly don't belong.
Very fun place to play some tennis and unwind, clean courts
Tennis courts. Basketball courts. Handball and wall ball.
Four conveniently located tennis courts in good shape with an excellent practice wall near the courts. They are among the only lighted public courts in New Castle County outside of Newark. The wall is a good place to meet other tennis players who don't have a partner to play with.
My friends and I play basketball here sometimes. It's a good solid court but we hate the double almost triple rim. It makes it a lot harder to make baskets. It's also a popular Park so can be very crowded so we avoid coming here now for the most part.
The tennis courts are in good shape. You can frequently find a pickup game. The basketball courts are almost always in use. I appreciate the tennis practice wall.
My spark not too much there basketball court tennis court but it's nice enough to go walking around it a few times you know get some exercise enjoy The View there's a baseball field right there as well watch baseball games when they play overall it's nice park

I love walking here. I try to get on the trail every chance I can. Lots of other people exercising, walking their pets, jogging, riding bikes. It's scenic and beautiful. Fresh air and just a great place to be. This is my wellness getaway.
Great, hilly rides from here to the Brandywine Zoo, up Monkey Hill, North along the Brandywine to Alapocas Run, then back up toward Rockford Park and down to Bancroft Mills, back to Rockford Park, then down to the Brandywine by the DoPont Expirementa
Great place to walk, work out, enjoy the trees and bring your dog! There are restrooms as well. Very dog friendly, plenty of room for a great picnic, perfect spot for the whole family
A transcendental movement took place upon entry into this forest. Enchanted geese 𪿠gathered near our presence and ate vegetation as if we were part of nature alongside them. I highly recommend gracing this place with your being. Itâs game & lif
This is a beautiful park with a playground, pavilions with picnic tables and barbecue pits, walking trails, a creek that runs through it, basketball and baseball courts, and so many beautiful large trees. It is a favorite of ours.
A pleasant place that you can enjoy walking trails, playground, baseball, picnics, tennis, and basketball. Interesting landscape/scenery and full of life. I recommend you take some time to explore this park for all it has to offer. There is ample par
Although I was only a member at 9 Round for a brief period (due to change in job situation), I would highly recommend them! I was brand new to kickboxing, and the staff here were welcoming, open to explaining the process, and made it a comfortable en
UNBELIEVABLE. We stopped here for the first time while traveling from Delaware to NY. It's in a space with other food places (a big food court), but just go straight to these guys! The food was SO DELICIOUS with every bite. We ordered the Chickn Sand
Enjoyed our first visit here. Friendly and efficient staff. Pleasantly surprised how quickly our order was ready. Food was delicious although a bit too salty. Although limited space, they've managed to provide a nice window bar with seating which fel
First visited Sleeping Bird shortly after they opened a few years ago. Unfortunately my schedule precludes me from being able to stop here. Today my schedule changed and we were able to come back. Sleeping Bird is in my top 10 coffee shops, if not m
Very high quality for a single stand operation, with consistent options across the board. Every meal I've had here I thoroughly enjoyed. It is difficult to remember to take pictures as it usually gone before my phone comes out. Being a small busines
Close friends of ours let us in on this local gem! The sparkling clean just polished bar is just a preview of the amazing service you will receive when you sit at the bar. Though it was my first time visiting I felt as though I was among family membe
Oh how I love the menu, the ingredients, the employees, and the atmosphere. I just fill out my order on a piece of paper and hand it over to the server. May I say, she knew how to hook me up! Because, in my experience, I've never received a poke bowl
Different cheesesteak #1062 in the last five years. I have been driving by Joey Tâs and seeing his âBest of Delaware' banners for years but never had cash or there was a line. The stars aligned the other day and I stopped. I was going to get t
This playground features different age-appropriated play sets and also a large sandpit with toys in it. With trees and covers, you can still take a break in the shade during summer playtime. Play structures are well maintained and interesting. Parkin
The HiLo House is more than a place to workout. It's a movement. The instructors, the management, and the atmosphere are superb. Do yourself a favor and sign up immediately. It'll be the best decision you make all year, I promise.
