Rooms are clean & so is the Restaurant that's attached. Beds are super comfy. Not Fancy and no amenities in rooms but there is a common area (again clean) that has a fridge, micro & coffee maker with all the fixings. Super polite staff & very quiet. Stayed 3 nights & price was good.
Terrible Hotel and terrible management. The manager was very unprofessional and disrespectful. It says pet friendly, but they don’t tell you until you get there that there are extra fees. These terms are nowhere on the website and not communicated to you at all prior. We were also charged for two dogs that were Emotional Support dogs with paper work. In total we were charged an extra $150, and we weren't given a breakdown of the charges or a receipt. Outdated room, no fan in the bathroom so it’s smelly and possibly molding.
Where do I start? I'll revert back to my Navy days and go with goods and others. Goods: Great little restaurant downstairs. Food was good and service was excellent. Great remodel for the place. Others: Batteries for the heater remote were dead. Couldn't get in touch with anyone to get replacements. TV is horrible. No channels. Wanted this to be good but...
We loved this little hotel in Downtown Myrtle Creek, Where small town accommodations can be scary! They reached out before arrival, it was clean, efficient, functional and although it's an older building they really dressed it up. Mexican Restaurant downstairs, separate cozy bar and Marie (I think) our check in hostess was well presented, kind, knowledgeable and we were able to enjoy the Christmas parade at Taphouse 2 blocks away. Coffee house on one corner. Mini May on the other, liquor store 3 blocks away.... We're in love and will be back.
It is a quaint little place. The reason it got a low starring is because it has a 3p check in but the owner didn't show till 330p. When we finally got in the room my husband and I took showers and the towels were stained and towels not adequately stocked. The whole floor around the bed is extremely squeaky. Then we were given a phone number too call if we needed anything. When I tried to use it I would get no answer. Very poor customer service..
I just hope that someone sees this review because this hotel is a joke. I made a reservation online saying I could check in before ten but then got a call that said I had to check in before 9 even though I had no idea when I booked it. It was physically impossible for me to make it and an absolutely terrible receptionist refused to work with me and actually acted as if I was bothering her. She cancelled my reservation and wouldn’t do anything to help even though it was not only a problem they created but one they were aware of in advance. Me and my group had to drive through the night to get home because we had no place to stay. Even better I still am waiting on a refund. I have never in my life had an experience this bad and I would never recommend using this place.
A gem. We will visit again, and plan a Seattle-Sacramento drive around staying here. We were exhausted at 1AM, found the hotel (upstairs in an otherwise plain building), and were warmly greeted and shown to a room. It was simple, but comfortable and pristinely clean. It’s leaps better than "just a warm, flat spot" like a typical motel would be on a good day. It isn't fancy or luxurious, but nonetheless one of the best I've found for a comfortable stay. Like a very good but inexpensive European hotel. 5 stars because of the price.
So when I was originally looking for a place to stay for Valentine weekend.I found this hotel on expedia which shows you nearby hotels and multiple websites with prices for said place. The sites said $54 a night but when I went to check in they said I didn't reserve, and when I asked if there was a room available they said for $73 a night. So that was irrataing and on top of that they said I need to put a $50 cash deposit. So that's more than I originally expected/planned. When I was leaving I piled up the used up bedding and put my garbage into a box and had the room cleaned up. I then went to ask for my deposit back when I went to drop off my keys, and the lady became super snappy saying that I supposedly never paid a deposit and even if I did that I wouldn't get it back because the room was supposedly messy. So not only did I end up paying roughly 120 more than I planned for they wouldn't give me my deposit back. The room was decent, most of the tv channels didn't work however.
