Green Tavern - Bar in Pontiac - 1225 Baldwin Ave, USA

First time coming here in several years. Came in to meet a few co workers and had a few drinks and some laughs. Had fish & chips. Very clean and affordable prices. And the food was perfect! The bartender was professional and friendly. Good place to stop by and take back a few.

So tonight, a drunken employee that wasn't on the clock and the police was called on me! So, I am confused. An employee that can be drunk after work can call me out of my name.. her and her coworkers can call the police on me?! Someone who never cause issues? This will not be the only time this will be addressed! Weaponizing the police is not cool! I could've lost my life! Your response doesn't add up? To keep who safe? I was the one threatened by your drunken employee. I could have lost my life. She was screaming and causing a scene, so who was you trying to keep safe?

Went for the first time and won't be my last . Great food , great drinks . The staff is also awesome ,they are very welcoming and super nice . I will be back .

I have to say the food was good. But each time the Older lady that cooks is thee most rudest person I every met over the phone. Then every times I’d pay for my food she frowns her face and just throw my change on the bar instead of giving it to me.! She definitely gives off racism energy! Will NEVER spend my money there again!!!

Not bad as far as dives go. Food is above average and is a good, low key spot to decompress.

The staff does not wear mask. It was hard to find a clean table. I will say once we sat down the bartender was attentive. Gave a hassle abt getting my nonalcoholic beverage in a styrofoam cup, bt nevertheless I got it.

Great food amd services, especially the steak tips and potato skins! Ask Nicole to cook em...Perfect!! Rod & Cat.
