Green River Bridge Inn - Bed & breakfast in Guilford - 2435 Stage Rd, USA

Lee & Bob Mann are the best innkeepers. They are so friendly and personable. The River Room overlooks the covered bridge & river. Sleeping with the window open was a treat. The breakfasts were very tasty especially the french toast. Be sure to ask when they are offering Flamekuchen (similar to a flatbread pizza) as it is fantastic especially when paired with their European wines. Cell service is very spotty so be sure to download maps before you get there. Drive the River Road for great colors in Oct. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Our stay was booked for September 27-29 2023 As full time Nomad Travelers we were looking for a sweet spot to visit and take in some fall season color and cuisine. We googled possibilities in southern Vermont and came across The Green River Bridge Inn. From the website we were drawn in by the covered bridge. The photos of the rooms were very inviting. We booked our reservations immediately. The moment we arrived host, Bob made us feel welcome and we knew our time at The Green River Bridge Inn would be memorable. Our time spent setting on the back deck, and in the beer garden by the rippling sound of the river were absolutely amazing and relaxing. Both evenings we enjoyed visiting and laughing by the warm fire. The breakfast prepared and served by Lee & Bob was beyond delicious: coffee, fruit juice, fruit cup, biscuits, toast and jam; cooked sprouted oatmeal and eggs and bacon for the non-vegan.

My husband & sister & brother-in-law and I were blown away during our 2 night stay at Green River Bridge Inn. Bob and Lee’s personalities are perfect for running a guest focused, art and fun filled Vermont Inn! We enjoyed hanging out on the property. Wood fires by the river both nights. We couldn’t believe how close we were to that amazing covered bridge! Area is perfect for walkers and bicyclists. We also enjoyed bird watching off the back deck. Our room was the Bridge Room which had a very comfy cozy feel and I took full advantage of the “steam” shower in our bathroom. Did I mention the food? Part of our party is vegan. Bob made sure the breakfasts both days pleased us all. We will definitely stay at Green River Bridge again.

My husband and I had an amazing time at the Green River Bridge Inn! Bob and Lee were very gracious hosts and welcomed us like we were family. We came to the area for a wedding over the weekend and I wish we could have stayed longer! The beds were sooo comfortable - it was like sleeping on a cloud! The breakfasts both mornings were also delicious - started with yogurt parfait and eggs benedict. We will definitely be back.

Firstly, if you ever need to feel welcome somewhere then stay at the GRB Inn and innkeepers Lee and Bob will fill the need. ….Setting of the inn is great. ….Rooms clean and comfortable. ….Breakfasts are a real treat. ….Interior decor provides for a soothing atmosphere. ….Scenery is nice. Bravo to Innkeepers Lee and Bob of the Green River Bridge Inn, Guilford Vermont for their superb hospitality at the best b&b that we have ever experienced. We came for the nearby Marlboro Music Festival but were totally blown away by this fabulous Inn and the warmest possible welcome. This was the highlight of our 37 day New England road trip. One late afternoon we enjoyed a surprise concert on the lawn next to the river by singer/songwriter Charlie Chronoupolos. We were blessed with three days of heaven. Gotta get back there ASAP.

The Inn rooms and breakfasts are great! The hosts provided us with comfort, companionship and a little pampering. My only advice is to drive up via Guilford Center Rd, as the inn is a little out of the way and nearby dirt roads are less driveable.

Simply Serenity July 2023 Every detail was perfect absolutely perfect. Bob and Lee are amazing people and very kind. We felt like we were with family at home. If I could describe this picturesque place in one word it would be SERENITY. It truly is a slice of heaven there at the inn. I cannot say enough about it. It was our first time at a bed and breakfast and it was a great one. They are beyond gracious and helpful. The food was delicious and the room so clean and cozy. The bed was so comfortable and the sounds of the river and falls was a much needed relaxation time for me. Kudos to Bob and Lee and the whole staff there at the inn. You guys rock and the world needs more people like you in it. Thank you again for an unforgettable experience and great memories.
