Green Ridge Pizza - Pizza takeaway in Scranton - 2103 Boulevard Ave #1207, USA

My family has been coming here since the 1970’s. We’ve moved away, but Green Ridge Pizza is a mandatory stop whenever we’re in town. It’s the best pizza anywhere! The guys working are busy and it’s a hot kitchen, but they’ve always been polite to us. I gave the atmosphere four stars for nostalgia’s sake. It ain’t much, but it’s clean and it’s comfortable.

Loved it since I was a child. Same great taste and I'm 65 now. Highly recommend this Pizza

My husband's family has been going here for 57 years. It's still the same. Honest people making great pizza at a really great price. No hassles. A local business that should be frequented. We always get some to bring home to Massachusetts and freeze.

Update....Notice the reply from the owner...First of all I was honest and even said we would be back but to wait a year to reply? .I also do not get paid, I gave an honest review of the food I received that night, everyone has a bad night and a professional business owner would have acknowledged that and moved on. The reply shows the professionalism. Also if you do look at my reviews I have given tons more positive then negative, when food is bad people review it as such. Also HOW do you know what I ordered a year ago? I guess I should have said I ordered a meatball hoagie with cheese as it is listed on their menu, didn't know I had to specify every single thing we wanted on the hoagie. lol ....This used to be a favorite place but tonight was a disappointment. The pizza dough was, well doughy and undercooked, the sauce is not like it used to be, seemed plain and overly sweet tonight. Steak and cheese tasted like someone spilled the entire salt shaker on it. Also ordered a meatball and cheese, now I will be honest this was the first time we ordered one. We expected more like a meatball parm with sauce but it was frozen meatballs with possibly American cheese but to be fair this could be what it always is. Being that we have been going here for years we will give it another try but tonight was awful. By the way no they were not busy when we got our food so that is not a reason for the quality.

Heard the pizza was really good here and wanted to place an order for someones family that just passed away and called to place an order. The Gentleman who answered the phone at 12:20 on Saturday should NOT be a representative of the shop. I called and asked who the owner was (because I wanted to make sure that it was still the same great place) and immediately was told the place is run by absentee management and they weren't there." I am very busy and I cant help you sorry" and then promptly hung up. Can you only imagine how he is treating the people in the actual shop or God forbid you would have to work this guy.

Great pizza! Lots of sauce and good amount of cheese. Cooked to perfection. It doesn’t look the prettiest from the outside but don’t let it deter you! Keep up the good work!

I have been eating pizzas from Green ridge Pizza since I was 8 years old, and that was a long time ago let's just say I have gray hair now LOL. Never got a bad pizza from this place and there footlong Texas hoagies are the best.

Love their pizza. And the steak n cheese subs r the best. One of my favorites... its always great when we order from here. Perfect every time...
