If you are visiting and love to shop Broughton st., or have a student at SCAD, this is the perfect choice for peace and relaxation. The innkeeper is delightful and is very willing to make everyone feel accommodated (gluten allergy). The bed was cozy and had several extra blankets on those rare cold evenings in Savannah. The shopping area is about a 5 minute stroll and the historic area is all around you! Although it's not right on Forsythe Park, it was worth a couple of extra minutes for quiet. Actually, it had its own parking, which is a factor in the city too! Little gem
We stayed the weekend at this gem of a B&B. The house was beautiful, decorated perfectly and very comfortable. This was our first time in a bed and breakfast, we are typically more hotel type people, but it will not be our last. We were in the Sabal Palm suite and it was perfect in every way. I have read a lot of reviews and found out first hand that Nicole was a “rock star”. She is the chef that makes breakfast every morning and she is quite masterful in her craft. She is quite personable and we very much enjoyed talking with her. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that does not want to stay in a very manufactured, very ordinary cookie cutter hotel. Thank you for the excellent stay and please know that we will be back.
Green Palm Inn is a solid Bed and Breakfast. This Vintage home in Savannah’s historic district was well maintained and very clean. Breakfast was delicious. Daily wine reception with freshly made cookies was an added treat. Nicole is a fantastic host!!
Green Palm is located in the historic district and is about 3 blocks from one of the trollies that travels about the city. This is an old home with very small rooms. The breakfast served daily from 8:30 to 9:30 was fabulous giving way to wonderful convos with other travelers. Although old, the place had modern accommodations- WiFi, tv (which we never figured out), coffee maker. Bed comfortable. Downsides were the size of the room that was packed with frilly things that took up travel bag space. The house was located in a very noisy neighborhood so bringing ear plugs is a suggestion. The ceiling light was permanently dim which doesn’t help when packing. There is no one on-site but there is a phone number one is to call with questions
Great place to stay. The only thing that could have made our stay better would be a better mattress in our room. You are literally so close to a perfect review, but the mattresses need improvement!
Green Palm Inn is a charming and cozy bed and breakfast located in the heart of Savannah, Georgia. The inn is housed in a beautifully restored historic building and offers comfortable and well-appointed rooms that are tastefully decorated with a classic Southern charm. The innkeeper is friendly and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations and suggestions for things to do and see in the area. The breakfasts are delicious and homemade, with a variety of options that cater to different dietary needs and preferences. The location is ideal, just a short walk from many of Savannah's top attractions, including Forsyth Park and the historic district. The prices are reasonable for the quality of accommodations and amenities, making it a great value for your money. Overall, Green Palm Inn is a wonderful choice for anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay in Savannah.
My wife and I just returned home from a 3-night stay at the Green Palm Inn. We love visiting Savannah and found this little place just delightful. The room was comfortable, very clean and well equipped. The B&B is small but tastefully decorated and we enjoyed talking with the staff. Best of all was the breakfast with the stuffed French toast we had one morning and the frittata on another that were delicious! It's a really nice place to stay and it's walking distance from just about everything.
We have stayed at the Green Palm Inn many times with 3 different owners. This was our first stay with the current ownership. This experience was different. While the inn is still beautiful, clean and has a great location, it no longer has that traditional B&B feel to it. That is part of the experience that we enjoyed. The only issues with the logistics of our stay were that our room was very cold and the internet in our room was weak and spotty.||We stayed 2 nights and never saw or heard from any owner or management. We were around the inn a fair amount of time because the weather was rainy. The housekeeping and breakfast staff were very pleasant and personable, and the breakfast was very good. For me it takes away from the experience of a B&B if there is no one to ask questions and get suggestions on activities and restaurants. The visit was very impersonal, even more so than a hotel because there was no one to interact with.||If the personal touch and interaction with a B&B host isn't something you value the Green Palm Inn is still a beautiful, clean inn in a great location for exploring Savannah. |

Wow - such a great experience. Charming building, welcoming staff, huge breakfasts, pre dinner drinks and snacks, then desserts after dinner too! Too many good points to mention. I don't normally rave about hotels - but this one was great.
Our stay at the Eliza Thompson house was the highlight of our stay in beautiful Savannah. We arrived a day earlier than expected due to a dismal weather forecast for the planned travel day, but when we called ahead, they were able to accommodate us i
