Green Mountain Scenic Overlook & Trailhead - Park in Minneola - 20700 County Rd 455, USA

Beautiful park and well maintained. Spoke to someone who parks his van here and bicycles 103 miles, 3 times a week. For those less ambitious, you can picnic here and walk out to the tower/overlook (about 500-600 yards...wheelchair friendly). Clean restrooms and your furry friend is welcome to.join you. You can also do a short hike on the Apopka Trail in either direction. This is mile marker 17.3.

Took my partner and son for a nice walk and view. The observation deck was blocked by taller trees and there were huge bugs (gigantic spiders and mosquitos). The observation deck wasn’t super high up either, I would survive a fall down. Wouldn’t come again as it was a far drive but we enjoyed the journey I suppose!

Viewing is mostly obscured by trees but the area has a very relaxing and calm environment. The Lake Apopka trail also begins (or ends depending on the direction ur walking from) here.

Great day for a ride! Trails are not for street bikes. Lots of alligator sightings!!

Nice place, quiet. The “view” is quite terrible as large trees are very obstructing. People often biking, hiking, etc. I was hoping to capture some wildlife/scenic photos via the overlook tower, but was disappointed due to tall trees. There are multiple benches, a picnic area, and restrooms available.

Excellent nature trail. Hawks, vultures, alligators. Clean restrooms. Parking available.

Awesome place! Great place for hiking and biking. Many twists and turns with "elevation" changes. Very well kept up and lots of signage. Easy and quick walk to the scenic overlook. The only thing is the beautiful tree tops kind of obscure the views. Nice place for families and relaxing. Many places to sit and several picnic areas. Lot's of wildlife and foliage. Bathrooms were clean. It was drizzling while we were there which kept it "cool" while walking(July). Paved and wheelchair accessible to the overlook. Gravel trails everywhere else. Really enjoyed this place! Not allot of parking available. Want to go back and walk even farther. We only went about 2 & 1/2 miles...

Great family friendly trail. Not very strenuous, many families with dogs that were leashed. There were dog stations and the trail was clean. There were some chairs for breaks. The beginning of the trail has an overlooked area which was very pleasant.
