Great place to visit! So many beautiful spots and activities to do. Very clean and family friendly. It has playgrounds for children, picnic tables throughout, charcoal grills, and bathrooms.
Some activities to do: walking the trails, fishing, kayaking, yoga, grilling, volleyball, soccer and soccer. I believe I saw a tennis court near the parking lot. Beautiful scenes for those who likes to take pictures or just for relaxation. Very recommended!
Great park for hiking, fishing and picnics! Lots of tables, benches and paths. Beautiful scenery and views.
One of our favorite park to go to! Very relaxing, quite and have big space to go to. Also have nice views for picture taking no matter what season you go but fall is our favorite. Will highly recommend this park to anyone who loves to just chill, nature walk or photography.
We walked a portion of both the red and blue trailheads. The red we walked along the road with beautiful water views and the blue we walked on a dirt trail but had the water to our left. Something about having a water view on my hikes that makes me enjoy it so much.
My family really enjoys this park and area in general. It's very well maintained with various things to do, like trails, fishing, a ramp for boating and kayaking, etc. One area has picnic tables and a playground. Plus ample parking. (And more)
My first time here. This park is beautiful, huge and has so much for everyone. Great for family outings, picnics, playground, walking, running, hiking, biking, fishing, disc golf….or laying on a blanket and looking at the sky. The Perkiomen Trail runs through here too.
I walked a trail around the lake. The path was more extensive than I thought. Half way around, at a parking lot, you cross the road (yellow markers indicate where to cross) walk up to the raised road, continue until you reach the other side of road and yellow markers. Cross here and you’ll eventually reach parking lot (about 3mi walk). FYI, on this walk you’ll pass entry to ORANGE Trail which is hilly and has some tree root on path. Great looking challenge. Next time!
Really beautiful, stunning park with bodies of water, large trails, and forests. You can bike through the trails, walk your dog, or enjoy the lake. Either way, there is something to do. Even has a kids play ground, so it's a really great family place. Some of the scenic areas are breathtaking. Pick a nice day, take your boat and enjoy the nice wind.
Great park. Plenty of trails and restrooms. The lake is very awesome too. Many hiking and challenging biking trails.
Excellent Wings! Great Pizza! I'll be coming back for sure!
Went back and hag the Cheesesteak pizza roll and was really good with their red wine! Still 5 stars across the board!
