Green Island Inn - Motel in Fort Lauderdale - 3300 NE 27th St, USA

Stayed here for 8 nights in May and it was amazing! Rooms were vary impeccably clean and modern! The are is very relaxing. 2 blocks from the beach. It is a spot if you want a relaxing vacation and not break a bank. The backyard has a pool, handout area and there are a lot nice plants. Great staff on site! I would certainly come back.

What a little gem this hotel was for us! We had booked another hotel for our 2 night stay in fort Lauderdale before our cruise, but when we saw the reviews I went hunting for something better. And what a relief finding this place! The location for us was wonderful, just over the road from the beach to watch the sunrise, and only around 20 minutes to the port for our cruise. The hotel felt very secure as there was a door with a passcode on that was locked on a night. It felt very homely walking through to get to our room, not sure if people live there but it felt like a nice cosy place to be. Our room was absolutely immaculate! It was upstairs overlooking the pool, it felt like it had been recently renovated with a nice modern feel to it. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The kitchen area was very clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom was also very nice with a light up mirror and a huge walk in shower! The pool area was nice and clean, very quiet for a weekend! We spent the night sat around the pool with some snacks and drinks, it was a perfect place to relax after travelling from the UK. There was a few shops for breakfast/snacks within walking distance for us. Overall it was a wonderful stay and if we’re ever back in fort lauderdale for a cruise we will definitely be booking again!

We were so happy to find this gem of a place! The staff were very responsive to our needs. The room was lovely! Opening up to a tropical garden and a semi private swimming pool. After a day of running around Ft Lauderdale or being at the beach this peaceful oasis was delightful to come back to.

It's amazing what they have done with the space! Green Island Inn was actually a small motel back in the day, which was converted to a little tropical paradise filled with all kinds of tropical plants and trees, a cute pool and some nice shaded spots to sit in. This is my go-to stay at Fort Lauderdale for how cutesy and tropical the property and its gardens feel. The Lauderdale beach through the Loggerhead park is right across the street, just steps away. This part of the beach is never crowded, the waters are so very clean and there are some beautiful homes and pretty streets all around. I walk to the beach at night too, just to hear the waves. The management is very friendly and accommodating. Green Island Inn will remain my go-to stay in Fort Lauderdale.

We love staying here. It feels more like an AIRBNB experience where you stay in someone’s home. You can tell the owners take pride in their inn and are constantly working on the property. There is so much charm here. The office is closed on the weekends but they’re readily available when needed. We requested a couple wash cloths and they kindly replaced all towels. I love having a kitchenette and full sized fridge. The pool is clean and surrounding ground are lush with foliage. It’s a short walk to the beach, several restaurants, and the water taxi. It is not a sterile five star hotel. The furniture is older and the grout isn’t spotless if you care about that. I would recommend bringing bug spray and a new kitchen sponge. We had everything we needed and both slept very well.

I loved this place from the first email I got from Green Island Inn. Always so friendly and answered all my questions. I had a late check in and I received a detailed email of where I should go to find my room. Very thankful for that. Also loved that I had a room facing the pool. Just a few steps away from Fort Lauderdale beach and like 20 to 30 mins to the restaurants and grocery stores. Nice room with a good bed. The cleaning staff did also a very good job with keeping the place nice and tidy. I would definitely come back to Green Island Inn.

This place was very quirky , comfortable and quiet. It's being renovated at the moment so lots of work going on but we did not get disturbed. The pool area is clean and we basically had it all to ourselves. The shops are within walking distance we found some bars and restaurants too. About 8-11 minutes up the main road left. On the opposite side of the main road is the beach beautiful with plenty of room. If you like it a little busier you may need to catch the number 11 bus to olas boulevard or get some kind of transportation it's a little far to walk.

Great little place! A beautiful short walk to the beach every morning. Lovely palm trees and plants all around. Nice clean pool with a grill. Very very nice staff! Location and price are excellent! Quiet and safe.
