Beautiful old B&B in a stunning location. Seals with their pups barked on the beach in front of the inn, a short walk took you to the boardwalk where you could have fresh clam chowder, tour the aquarium, and collect souvenirs. The rooms were very spacious and very reasonably priced. Complementary wine, cheese, and delicious handmade breakfasts were all available to us each day of our stay! 10/10 highly recommend and would stay again!

Fantastic experience due to the beautiful setting, gorgeous views, the luxurious room with wonderful sheets, comfortable bed, and great amenities coupled with the staff friendliness and excellent customer service made for a great stay. We loved the happy hour treats and wine. And fun bicycle ride on the adjacent path was just icing on the cake. We'll be back!

Green Gables Inn was absolutely fabulous! Yes, it was expensive, but definitely worth it. The location was great- within walking distance of many attractions and right across the street from the ocean. I loved sitting in the common area to eat breakfast or just hang out. There were often harbor seals playing in the water. There was plenty of free street parking. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and afternoon cookies were great. They also serve wine and cheese in the afternoon. My niece and I took this trip as a gift for her graduation. Her name is Lacy, so we booked the Lacy Suite. The room was beautiful. It had huge windows, lofty ceilings, a fireplace, pocket doors, and all of the old charm from an 1800s home with all of the amenities you would expect from a hotel. It is beautifully renovated. I would love to go back in the off season when the butterflies overwinter in Pacific Grove!

This is a wonderful , beautiful, amazing bed and breakfast! Where do i start? Location is incredible! Quick walk to Cannery Row or into town in Pacific Grove or to Lovers Point. It’s directly across the street from the ocean so the views are magnificent! The bike pathq is directly across the street and the hotel will provide you free of charge bikes. My husband and so went on an absolutely gorgeous 8 mile ride along the coast. Amazing! The main house: from the outside it’s a traditional looking home but inside the decorating was modern beach and stunning!!! It’s comfy yet fashionable! And the views are amazing! There are cookies all day , wine and cheese in the afternoon and a yummy breakfast each morning. We stayed in the back building and had an incredible suite with blocked views of the ocean. We had a fireplace , large sitting area, large bathroom with tub and separate shower and a king bed. The room was decorated beautifully. Our fireplace had some issues but they sent someone to fix it and also gave us a pretty significant credit (before we even had to ask) for our difficulty. The staff are kind and helpful. 5 stars all the way! We will be back!!!

My husband and I spent two nights here. The property has been recently renovated and everything is beautiful. The common areas and breakfast room overlooking the ocean are stunning. We watched otters play and dolphins swim by at breakfast and happy hour. The wine and cheese was great, and so was the breakfast. We stayed in the balcony room which has amazing ocean views. We slept with the windows open listening to the ocean. My only complaint is that the private bathroom for this room is across a shared hallway which is pretty inconvenient and awkward.

5 star experience! We stayed in the Balacony Room (1) and couldn’t have loved it more! You are overlooking the ocean across the street and it is the most stunning view of Pacific Grove! The location is right next to a 18 mile trail called Monterey Bay Costail Trail and will take you through to Cannery Row and the Aquarium (12-15 minute walk) or you can take the trail the other way (towards Lovers Point) and continue on the path until it ends near the Beach at Spanish Bay for the most gorgeous coastal views! Typically I never like to spend time in a hotel room and yes technically this is a B&B but I found myself wanting to come back to this room and chilling with a glass of wine and just listening and watching the waves crashing onto the rocks, it was magical to me! They do have an excellent breakfast and wine and cheese selection that I was also racing back for each evening! I couldn’t recommend this place enough! Our room did have a separate bathroom across the hall and it was private (just for us) and I see people leaving reviews about it but it was in the details of the room and honestly it was a gorgeous and big bathroom and I actually liked that it wasn’t in the room because sometimes your partner can really stink it up, so I really appreciated that it was private and not in our room! Anyway, I found it hard to leave this little slice of heaven and would highly recommend this as the perfect place to stay! The staff was also very helpful and kind! They wanted to make sure our stay was beyond expectations and it truly was! We came the end of April/first days of May 2024. The sea otters had their pups and they sun bathed on the beach directly in front of the inn. Also we did see a whale twice from the view from our room!

This reservation was for my husband’s birthday. We stayed 2 nights. We were greeted with kindness and allowed early checkin. The inn was communicative and helpful. Recent renovations are clearly demonstrated at this charming property. We enjoyed a variety of breakfast items with a great view of the ocean. The gas fireplace in our room was a nice touch. Looking forward to exploring other 4 sister properties in the future.

Great little B&B that is centrally located in Pacific Grove. Walking distance to cannery row, the aquarium and the monarch butterfly sanctuary. The rooms were clean and everything worked well (for such an old house). We had no problems. There is a ni

Staff was friendly. Room had plenty of space and was remarkably quiet. Enjoyed the gas fireplace. Best part was walking to the beach. Pacific Growth is a cute town and close to everything you would want to see or do in the area. We would stay again.

Wasn't sure what to expect, so I'm trying to give as detailed of a review as possible so that hopefully whoever sees it has a good idea of what they're paying for. The rooms were smaller than expected. But if you're intending to be out the whole day

A wonderful place to sit and reflect. The crashing waves are always intriguing. There is a path between several benches in the area. A great place to enjoy while on a coastal walk or bike ride.
