Green Door Lofts and the host, Jim, were amazing. The loft is centrally located with garage parking should you need it but it is within walking distance to plenty of shopping and dining. The loft was well appointed and stocked with comfortable living areas and beds and baths. Jim was terrific to work with… quick to respond, full of helpful local information and clearly dedicated to ensuring we had anything we needed to be sure our stay was perfect. We highly recommend Green Door Lofts and Jim!

Green Door Lofts is our favorite place to stay in Waco. We have stayed multiple times, its always fun to experience a new room there. Each room we have stayed in is decorated with a fun theme, and always well stocked with essentials and many extras that make it feel like a home away from home. Jim is great to work with, and goes out of his way to ensure everything about the stay is perfect. The lofts are right in downtown, walking distance to the Silos, shops, and restaurants. Very convenient location for visiting Baylor or catching a game as well. 5+ stars!

Green Door Lofts has become our Waco home away from home. My husband went to Baylor back in the day, and several of his family members have lived in Waco for decades. We stumbled upon Green Door Lofts as a place to crash when we came here for a retirement party in May 2023, and it has become so much more than that in the last six months! Me, my husband, my sister in law, and my (at the time) one-year-old had an incredible stay. Jim and his staff are beyond accommodating. The apartments are clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, well-stocked, and close to everything (truly! there is so much to go to within walking distance of the lofts). There's a pool and a patio space (and my son loves visiting the sweet and friendly cats in the main office space). We came back over the holidays, and then when we unexpectedly needed to return for a family memorial, Jim was able to make it work for us to have two apartments on short notice. While my family knows Waco well, I'm a total newbie, and Jim is always so helpful with advice on where to go and how to get there. With multiple family members and visits, we've stayed in nearly every apartment space, and love how each loft has a theme and different decor. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the delightful homemade breakfast treat (made by Jim's mom) in the freezer every time we arrived. Waco has become quite the destination these last few years and Green Door Lofts is proof of that. If you're looking for a place to stay, look no further.

Once again, our stay at the Green Door Lofts was amazing. The rooms were exquisite. The pool area was perfect for lounging around and enjoying a lazy afternoon. The central location downtown made it so easy to access various different venues. Host Jim is always gracious and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay at the Green Door Lofts for anyone interested in the best downtown Waco has to offer!

Our family loved spending 4 nights in the Green Door Stained Glass Loft. It was like walking into a magazine, beautiful!!! We hosted some of the Baylor girls rugby team for a graduation evening of games and cake, it was perfect, so much room. The huge, amazing kitchen with the open floor plan joining us easily with the lovely living room space made for the best gathering. Add the enormous TV and the wall fireplace, what else is needed, nothing. The 4 bedrooms were cozy and quiet, the 3 bathrooms had everything we needed, and more. The open loft on the second floor was a great escape area for our 13 year old. Walking to Waco’s prime locations like the silo’s, Dr. Pepper Museum, coffee shops and lots of eating opportunities was so easy and enjoyable. Also, Baylor University is just a quick 5 minute drive away. Come stay here and you won’t want to leave. Our host, Jim, could not have been nicer. It’s at the top of our list of favorite places to stay. Book now!! Sic’em Bears 🐻

The Green Door Lofts are amazing! Our unit was beautiful, clean, and stocked with all the conveniences you could need when away from home. Jim, the owner- was very welcoming and attentive to our needs. He knows everything about Waco- the best places to eat and visit. This will be our spot anytime we travel to Waco!

Our stay at Green Door Lofts was wonderful! The room was very nicely decorated, extremely clean and the owner was oh so inviting! We were able to walk to several places from the loft, and if the destination was a bit further, getting in and out of parking was easy enough. Everything about our stay was great! Next time we visit Waco, we will for sure stay their again, but maybe a bit longer next time.

We’ve stayed at Green Door three times - in two different rooms. I can’t say enough nice things about this place. It’s located in the heart of the downtown area with easy access to restaurants, Silos, great breweries, and short drive to Baylor. The rooms have great design features and very comfortable furniture and stylish decorations. They also are very well stocked with the basics needed to have a great stay. Also - the coffee cake is amazing! Thanks Jim for making such a great place to stay while in town.
