Beautiful park with a shaded playground! Lots of picnic tables under the trees and pavilion, a sand area with tons of communal toys, and an open field for throwing a ball or frisbee. Great experience!
Amazing, cute, and quaint. We will definitely visit here often. Loved how peaceful this park was, plenty of trash receptacles to clean up after yourself.
This is one of the hidden parks in Gainesville close to Sugarfoot Prairie. To get there, head to the south end of SW 40th St. You'll find a small parking area, and a Gainesville Parks sign. The park is very kid friendly, with a sky fort, swings, and a play area. Additionally, there is an outdoor exercise equipment area, a big open field, and a community garden. There's what appears to be a David Hayes sculpture, but it isn't marked with the author's name or numbered. The park is wonderful. Also, there is a connecting pathway/trail to Clear Lake Park (yet another hidden gem in Gainesville).
Great play area with a field and nature trails. Playground is well shaded and in good condition. Only issue is the park is so out of the way there is often no one else there for kids to play with.
This is such a great hidden gem! We love biking here on the trail.
Fantastic hidden gem in the heart of Gainesville. When I started coming to the park 30 years ago it was nothing but an open field. Over the years it has been updated to include swings, a jungle gym, play structure with slide, picnic tables, neighborhood garden and benches. The surrounding Sugarfoot community is very respectful of our beloved park, we only ask that visitors please exercise the same outlook.
Nice playground, but.... who the hell decided to spread it with sawdust instead of mulch? My son's feet were packed with splinters after visiting this park.
Great place for kids and adults. Has workout routine, several trails, and a play set with 2 slides. Also has BBQ grill, picknic tables, water fountians. Lots of wildlife along the trails.

A peaceful place to sit at in the evening and night. In the afternoon you can hear the chants of "Hare Rama, Hare Krishna" by the Krishna Lunch folks. They even play on a Harmonium sometimes. Well maintained park. I have spotted a snake there twice s
Nice little walking path. Itâs not too long, so i wouldnât consider it a work out. But i enjoyed seeing a bunch of tiny frogs everywhere and learning about some native plants
The beautiful example of an aged Live Oak, is the largest example in the entire state of Florida. A breathtaking living giant that is over 30 feet in diameter, 85+ feet tall, and its branches reach out so far one even had to be supported. This "park"
Stopped by here and walked the whole thing in about an hour and a half. Peaceful, quiet, and easy to walk. It wasn't too busy either. My only concern is how slippery the plywood(located on some parts of the bridge at the entryway of the parking area
Little gem! Great walks. Very uneven paths with lots of tree roots l, downed limbs, if you need to be aware of this. If you go off the main path into the smaller ones, you have some inclined to deal with also.
Off the main path is where the best vi
Green tree Park is very nice, neat and clean. Parks and recreation just needs to empty trash cans a little more often so that over the weekends they're not full.
If you have dogs, You must take them to Forrest Park!Today they had their grand opening, and the dog park is AMAZING. The best dog park in town for sure! They even have a professional dog wash station! The park is HUGEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!! Lots of spac
Since August, roughly 4 months, I have been going to AXIS and I am humbled and grateful for the amazing trainers here! I spent 45 years building bad habits and ignoring fitness, when I finally had some success on my own I learned that effort without
