We decided to try Green Acres for prime rib on a Saturday. Everything was great. The prime rib for perfect. The hash browns, salad, and bread were all great. Our server, Erin, was very welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere was festive for the holidays, and the upstairs dining room had a welcoming feel to it. We will definitely go back. Many items on the menu sounded tempting!
Great old fashion Wisconsin dinner club. It is important to make reservations! We sat down at 5 pm. An hour later, there was a waiting list. Would definitely go back. Waitress was very friendly. The atmosphere was wonderful. Just what you want when eating out.
Old fashioned was great, Prime rib cuts were good, lacked flavor unless you got the blue cheese on it which was great. Mushrooms weren't hot and mashed potatoes were instant and not much flavor. A little disappointed for the money. Great brandy Alexander. Our waitress Lindsey was fabulous though.
Dined here twice last week. The clam chowder was the best I ever had. Had it both nights. Ribeye steak on Saturday. Delicious. Salmon with loaded hash browns on Friday. Others had the broiled cod. Along with several Brandy Old Fashioneds everything was great. From Milwaukee. Wish I lived closer.
The service is always fast and reliable as well as friendly. Very clean and food comes quickly depending on what you order. Atmosphere is quiet and romantic. This is truly a traditional supper club and a pleasure to visit.
When in town it is our place to go! Great cocktails, my fish was great, hubs prime rib was delicious, and S.I.L. 1/2 a chicken was exactly that and told very good.
Service was excellent!
Good food, friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere, and generous portions. The Friday fish fry was well prepared with a light and crispy batter. Large serving sizes so no one went home hungry. Follow up a couple years later, still impressed I was excited to enjoy another fish fry. A classic WI supper club worthy of the drive. Excellent old fashioned made to your order. Feeding 5 people and still had left overs to go.
First time here last night for a birthday. Got there about 5:30 and sat at the bar for bit. It was very slow on a Wednesday. We got two old fashions, sweet, and to our surprise they came with cherries and pineapple! The pineapple was a different touch and it was really good. We started our meal with a swiss cheese & bacon dip that was awesome. Then we moved onto our soup of french onion that didnt come with a blanket of cheese over it like you're used to. The Wedge salad was the item that really stood out. Delicious. I got Potato & Cheddar Crusted Cod, which I would pass on ordering again. No crust and a little soggy made it a tough eat. Her salmon she described as "fine but a large piece." The thing that would make us returning customers were the Old Fashions, Wedge Salad, and after dinner we got some awesome Grasshoppers. I'd say the place is worth another shot and you should stop in!
John really cares about the coffee he roasts, and he cares even more about people within this community. He's a delightful guy!
On top of that, the coffee is amazing. I tend to go for a lighter roast and I grind my beans at home. I pick up what I ne
Easily the best Holiday Inn I've ever stayed at. Holiday Inn is my go to for any travel anyway, because it's not a cheap-o motel and always feels clean and safe. This one, however, although the same price as other ones I've stayed at, is super modern
