Greek Souvlaki - Greek restaurant in Salt Lake City - 404 E Broadway, USA

It had been a while since I last visited Greek Souvlaki. It is and has been one of the best fast food Greek food places in Salt Lake. Today, I was a bit surprised by the increase in cost for lunch. But when my lunch arrived, I felt happy with the cost/value ratio. I had a gyro with white sauce and a side of French fries. The gyro is very large, stuffed with meat and tomatoes and plenty of white sauce. The French fries were perfectly cooked, and there were plenty of them. I can eat a lot and I was stuffed! The quality was excellent, and the quantity was much more than I expected! One of the best Greek lunches for me in recent memory! I was reminded why Greek Souvlaki has been such a mainstay. It was really good!

So far, this has been the best Greek food I’ve tried; the gyros are well served, and the place does not look great.

I love the food. Great food and staff. Please install a bathroom door lock though. The bathroom is located behind the building on the outside. Very much like an old gas station type setup. My only problem with this is that it is just a toilet & sink & there's no lock on the door at all. It's just a regular doorknob. I feel that that could be a potential safety & privacy issue. Parents beware.

Gyros was Amazing, but they don't say it correctly. No matter, we will be back. So many other items to try. Being from Chicago this is the most authentic we have found.

Great food! The Greek street fries were amazing and I'm already craving them again. I had the chicken souvlaki pita, which was also really good. The food was really filling. Place was busy but food was prepared pretty quickly, considering, and we were told while ordering it would be a few minutes. Service was good. Can't wait to come back.

Apparently they don't give you a drink with your meal anymore??? $15 and they now want to get drink stingy. Honestly go to golden gyros instead. You get more meat, 2 sides and a drink for the same price. With everything going up in price, smaller portions, cheaper quality, it's a pretty rude slap to customers faces to also do all that and remove items. Will not be going back. This place is going to the dogs. Support better local business that actually care about where you spend your money.

10 bucks for a tiny little 🥙 Too much they used to be big unless you can afford a tiny little Gyro there!🥺 I was very very disappointed! 🥺Too much for what you get!! Now I know why they weren't that busy!! Sadly to say! They used to be generous not no more! 😪

The staff was friendly, but only half paid attention to your order. The food was overpriced and under-flavored. The spanikopita (spinach pie) was the worst I've ever had. At least the gyro was tasty although the burger options were very limited, only ok flavor wise.
