Great Wolf Lodge Water Park | Northern California - Resort hotel in Manteca - 2500 Daniels St, USA

Rooms are newer and clean. The water park is great when it's not crowded. The magi quest is a load of fun for the kids. My 6-8 year olds finished it in a day and we're super into it. It was a solid 4-5 hours of entertainment. We got a lot of exercise playing since it required exploring different parts of the hotel back and forth. My only two cons are that the food there is expensive. Luckily there's a shopping area right next door so it's easy to pick up food and take it back to the hotel. The other con is this place can get really packed on weekends or holidays. If you can, please try to avoid those days and you'll enjoy the trip 100x more.

I'm certain to revisit!

I have come here multiple times with my family, and we always have a good time. The staff is friendly, the food is good, but pricey, the games and activities are a blast. We did the high ropes course, played mini golf, and bowled many games! They even have a magical quest that the kids can do with a magic wand they buy… So much fun and it keeps them busy for a couple of hours! They have yummy donuts and Mexican food and a very good Buffet breakfast. The rooms are clean and spacious and some have forest themed bunks for the kids. Lots and lots of different waterslides and a wave pool… Highly recommend for families with kids.

Great water park for the colder months. It’s indoor and they keep it warm. Had a lot of fun with the family on an otherwise rainy day. Lots of games to keep kids engaged. They have bunch of activities happening in the common area to entertain kids. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was average.

This place must have 4,000 reviews because it seemed like everyone in the world was there with us but the water slides were really fantastic so it lived up to it's name and got 5 stars from me. Staying overnight got us in early the next morning and we enjoyed an hour or more of very short lines. Many options outside of slides - our kids loved the wave pool and I loved the water basketball hoops, though neither of those were anything special - just solid fun. Food was overpriced so we ate at Costco for a couple meals - it's like 0.2 miles away! If you live in the Bay area and have kids like we do then GWL is a must-go-at-least-once experience.

Good place for a day out. The rooms did have a theme to the bunk beds but it was very mild. Kids had no television view from there, single outlet for kids was in the same area and the room felt it was missing the creativity as other theme park rooms. Size of the room was great, as well as the check in service and experience. Food was pricey and the taste was not to my liking! I went to the local Sprouts for a ready dinner and it was more cost effective. The park inside is a good size for a slow day. Any holiday, I will not come. The amount of attractions, space when with a large crowd would be too much to still enjoy for me.

Geared towards family fun, plenty to do,but can nickel and dime you death if you are not careful. There is plenty to keep the kids occupied without buying the extras, but you have to listen to the kids complaining. The water area was a lot of fun; the only complaint I have is the chlorine smell since it is indoors. Food was of good quality in large servings and not as expensive as I thought it would be, especially if you buy the packages. Don't pay full price, keep checking for specials. The room we had had two large bedrooms with two full bathrooms, and a large in common family room. The beds were comfortable, rooms clean.
