Great Western Inn - Motel in Lancaster - 1902 I-35E, USA

This was the worst place I've ever stayed at. When renting the room I asked if the AC worked good because I had an infant with me. They said yes after a hour of not having ac I asked them to move me and they did. To a room that wasn't cleaned a room that had food in the fridge hair all over the inside of the blankets eyelashes and lip gloss laying everywhere. Someone kept putting a cone on my vehicle come to find out it was an over entitled customer who thinks they run the parking lot and wanted me to move my car so he can park there ! I called front office to see what was going on and they made me move my car at midnight instead of telling him to deal with the spot over, over night. They said no smoking the room smelt like straight cigarette. I promise I'll NEVER return to this place again!! If j could've given It 0 stars I would have !

Thankful for the front desk remembering me and getting me into the room in no time! between the lady Roxie the first night and Nick the second night, i was happy with the swiftness, politeness, and generosity! LETS GO GREAT WESTERN

I tried to get a room here for a friend of mine. They refused to let her have a room just because she is only 18. I was on the phone ready to give them my ID, my credit card and let them know I was on my way from San Antonio. My friend was turned away and remained outside in a horrible hail storm. A stupid rule was more important to them than treating another human with respect and charity.

It was a long day of traveling and my wife and I just wanted to find a place to rest for the night. When we arrived we found a few cockroaches crawling around but we were too tired to care. After showering, we found bugs on the bed and the sheets were disgusting(40 minutes). It seemed as if nothing has been cleaned before. We called the the front desk to come check the room. She came and caught a bug herself. We called the manager after but he refused to give us a refund. Great Western Inn is absolutely terrible. Do not come here! There was no way my wife and I are staying so without a refund we left. We drove 30 minutes further and found another motel (Super 8) where we had a much better experience. We had to pay a little extra but we knew everything was cleaned.

This is a great place to stay for the price. It is cheap and better quality then you'd expect from a typical motel. Staff is friendly, location is great right off 35. I pulled over for the night on a long drive up north and was able to hop right back on and continue my way the next morning. If you need a place to sleep during a long drive off 35, would def recommend.

VERY BAD – Keep Driving I was in town on business and came across this shack of rooms called (Great Western Inn).  I should have known something was wrong when I checked in and was given the remote control to the tv for the room I had just played for. In the room this place is NASTY, OLD FURNURATURE AND AN OLD BIG BUTT TV, like the one at my grandmother’s house. The wife of the owner/cleaning lady is Very Rude.  My AC stopped working in the middle of the night so I called the front office.  I was told that someone would come and look at it in the morning, so I sweat it out.  The next morning I asked the cleaning lady did she know if someone was coming to look at the AC.  She told me that I had broken it since I turned if off last night.  Heck, I turned it off after it stopped cooling the night before.  It made so much noise, if it was not cooling the room, why should I have to hear the noise wile I’m sleeping?  When she said that she walked back into my room and started moving my bags that I had placed about 5 feet from the AC unit.  I guess she was thinking my stuff was too close to it.  I did not give her the ok to touch my stuff, but she did anyway. I was surprised at her comment because she said it with an attitude.  She always told me stand outside of the room door as she half way cleaned the room.  That was rude. She did everything with an attitude.  I asked her was she ok and she said I’m working. She vacuumed my room with an attitude and seemed to be upset if she had to take my trash out.  I don’t think this lady liked her job.  Ok so I let that go since I had already paid for my room. The next day the shower knob stopped cutting the shower off because the knob needed to be tightened.  Again I talked to the cleaning lady/owners’ wife, who was in charge of the front office while she cleaned. When I told her about the shower, she barked at me and said “We don’t care about money, we just want good customers”,  I am not sure why she said that, but she did.  At this point I got upset at her and told her that if they did not care about money then I could take my money elsewhere.  She frowned and left. The very next day I got the hell out of there. As I checked out with the husband in the front office.  I was surprised to see him, but glad.  I kindly let him know what his wife had said and he told me that that was not his wife.  Seem as though she claimed him but he did not claim her.  Well I let him know what she said and asked for my receipt.  This foreign man gave me a hand written receipt of the days I was there. Cannot put that on my taxes.  I left there faster then I came there.  Not at appropriate place to stay and the internet will get cut off if you complain about anything.  I actually need to call the health department on this place.

Not a good place to stay, poor internet service old 📺 microwave broken frig did work froze liquid items $45 a day Mon-Thur / Fri-Sun $68 but you have to check out at 11am and return after 12 noon it sucked the wife is and was rude they are also associated with the Spanish Trail it's a real dump. Bed buds found checks right out. Motel 6 is also theirs it was fine.

The lady from India who owns the places a long with her family are very very very rude and do not talk to people nicely everyone is trash to them the guy who cleans the place with her lives and works there for rent also sells drugs there. They also have another business next door selling cars with a boat load of illegals working for them fixing the cars . and every day they have there cars that they just bought on the hotel parking lot blocking off parking space and keeping people from driving in or out
