Great Wall chinese restaurant - Chinese restaurant in St Cloud - 4433 13th St, USA

Great option for Chinese in St. Cloud area, would say like 4.7/5 for my first visit. Had a pretty big order which I placed online for dinner to go and it was ready quickly. Portions for dinners were Colossal and quality of food was great for the price. I liked everything we tried (Sesame Chicken with Pork Lo Mein and Egg roll, Beef With Broccoli and Chicken Fried Rice and Hot and Sour Soup, Chicken wings, Chinese Doughnuts, and Krab Rangoons). I can only say that my least favorite things were the eggroll, which although large, was a little heavy on the filling in comparison to the dough which I did not prefer as it made it less crispy that usual, and the krab rangoons, which were made well, but i prefer when they have a sweet taste to the filling as opposed to salty savory. A note, I did not try it but apparently the hot and sour soup was on the spicier side. All in all, great option for Chinese in the area and very close to home for me, so I will be returning and would recommend for a solid Chinese option in the area.

I order a large pepper steak order only with no onions because before I’ve noticed that they put too much pepper and onions but not enough steak. When I got home and open it, the whole top was full of peppers that you can’t see any steak at all. It was more peppers than steaks and the steaks had no condiments at all.

To start: these are the kindest, most authentic and adorably sweet people working here. They are extremely appreciative for a small tip, 20% is huge to them, so please tip as they're food is worth it! It's the best Chinese food in Saint cloud. It's not a fancy storefront but it is clean, well stocked and has a big menu. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious! I literally will order three entrees and a huge thi g of rice and eat is for three days straight! I've even eaten some of their fried rice with some breakfast sausage and it's weirdly a good combo. If you are looking for Americanized Chinese dishes that are fresh and yummy come here. They prepare food quickly too. I usually order thirty minutes out and I think it gives them some time to prepare the dishes fresh. 5/5 stars.

The Best Chinese Food in Florida!!! The Great Wall Chinese Restaurant is now my go to place for Chinese food. I have been bouncing around St. Cloud and Kissimmee and Lake Nona for edible Chinese food. All I have found is just okay to really bad. I ordered the same food from here that I always order from other places....WOW. Twice as much food! Freshly cooked! Crisp fresh vegetables! Fresh rice! Egg rolls are three times the regular size and are great! The dumplings are to die for! Enough leftovers for days....I just want to say thank you to the Great Wall Chinese Restaurant for great food and service at an affordable price. Wish I had taken pictures.

They’ve won awards for their food in the past. It’s mainly a takeout restaurant. You order at the counter and as of today (12/21/22) the staff was still wearing masks behind a clear plastic barrier with a hole in it and a microphone for you to speak into. They have photos above the counter showing menu options and two white boards showing special combinations on the wall. But it’s best to check the paper menu. Today there was a stack of paper menus at the counter. I came around 6:00 pm and they offered a $14.95 dinner combination. I got the char siu bbq pork ribs with fried rice and egg roll. They really piled on the food! My husband and I shared it and we were both stuffed.

Ordered online.. they didn't have the order ready. Had to wait. Took food home and the sesame balls were so soaked with grease they were inedible! Not sure if the rest of the food is cooked through since they rushed to make the order. This place used to be our go to for Chinese food. It's horrible now!
