Great Value Inn - West Sacramento - Motel in West Sacramento - 1432 W Capitol Ave, USA

Pulled into this hotel because of its location to my job site. Upon entering the room I was disgusted, The outside is definitely much better looking than what you find behind doors. The room was Filthy. I spent About 15 minutes in the room before deciding I can not stay here. Did not even want to touch the walls or door handles. When asked for a refund he didn't even Wonder why, he knew.

Warm, cozy, kitchenette was brand new, bed was like a beauty rest, room color mint blue took the strain right out of my eyes I love this color! cute shades, shower nearly blew me over it was so awsome,no bugs and very quiet. Maid accually asked me if I wanted fresh towels 😊Only thing theres no security locks.🙄 Love this place. Glad I found it🥳💯

They let me go $4 I was short of the room so I shouldn't b complain but . Let's not use the blankets sheets in #3 I am itchy and irritable I know they got critters on them. Went to shower up nice shower head but got a choice of scolding hot OR freezing cold Nice owners/staff but I'd rather sleep outside bugs is the dealbreaker. ▽ Don't know what room they stayed in. Must of been they're presidential suite▽

The “1-star” is simply a participation award. This hotel has to be the worst lodging experience of my life. I was misled into thinking this would be a decent hotel. First, I get there and they tell me they’ve “upgraded” my room to a more spacious area. Sounds great, right? NO. This so-called upgrade was a complete disaster. They gave me the “One-Lane Suite” as they called it. This place literally had me go sleep in a parking space. By now it’s past midnight and I’m just tired so I decide to break out my trusty sleeping bag and try out some asphalt. Life was going great for a minute while I closed my eyes and drifted asleep. Until they double booked my room! Some SUV comes flying into my “bed” and ran me over. Seriously, I’m in the hospital with a broken leg, 5 broken ribs, and a concussion. $75/night was NOT worth this kind of harassment. I will not be going back to this “great value” death trap.

There's no consistency here. There's smaller rooms with carpet and a small kitchenette. Larger rooms with no kitchenette and no carpet. Larger rooms with no carpet and a large kitchenette. Many outlet are improperly mounted in the wall. I first stayed here during the summer of 2016. I stayed again in September. The room rates increased from summer to fall, so get are average pricing with the other motels on capitol avenue. I am currently staying for an extended period only because they have the best rate in the area for an extended stay. The housekeeper is a daily nuisance. When she announces herself outside of the room, she'll continuously knock and/or say hello without waiting for someone to respond. If you don't yell and cut her off she'll proceed to enter the room. If that is considered acceptable there should at least be do not disturb placards provided to hang from the door handles. I have had to switch rooms during my current stay to accommodate a regular customer who reserved that room type, which I did not mind. What I did mind was being rushed because the housekeeper complained about having to go home, which wasn't entirely true since she had at least one more room to clean after the one i moved from. The place is old, the rooms are outdated. If your looking for four walls and roof that's inexpensive for long term, this is your place.

This place was dirty and defiantly had tenants our residents lifting there on a long term stay. They do have a kitchen and full sized fridge. For the price, if you want to clean your own room... this might be the place... didn't see any bugs...

I Like this Motel... The Manager is Very Nice too. He treats the Customers good.. And like we are People... Unlike a lot of these Motels Around here. They also do a good job of keeping up with the Place. And keeping it Clean.. A lot of these Motels have Lazy Disrespectful Maids. Not here she's Great!!! I'm very Pleased with this Motel!

Filthy motel room, fighting all night in other rooms, did not feel safe enough to sleep bf stayed up all night watching his car, in that lot. Not fun, just needing a bed and a place to chill. Didnt peel the covers ,
