Beautiful spot to sit and people watch while enjoying the gorgeous riverfront. We accessed Penn's Landing from the bridge and entered near the mini golf course. The course was quite crowded but looked to be a lot of fun. Maybe next time I will try it. Worth an hour or so visit to walk along the river and explore.
Beautiful spot to take a stroll by the riverfront. There’s water activities nearby that you can enjoy if needed
The Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing has always been one of my favorite places in Philly. It’s a nice gathering spot for cultural and holiday events throughout the year and usually free to the public. I was there on 5/27/23 for Memorial Day festivities including a free to the public show by singer Tara Hendricks followed by fireworks. Even if nothing is going on it’s still a nice place to go to just sit by the water and chill. One star deducted because the restrooms can be updated.
Tried the Disney Putt Putt! Highly recommend! Amazing quality, fun 18 hole putt putt course! Overall fun time! Great experience.
Lovely location! You can enjoy the place alone or with friends. Great for family and tourists. Beautiful lights at night. Water activities is available but limited. Occasional music activities on the weekends during the summer. Make a time to visit, it is worth the drive.
This is one of Philadelphia's great gathering places for fun , concerts, enjoying a breeze, skating, various activities and just chilling. I enjoy this place. Make sure you look up what's happening here throughout the year.
We've enjoyed our trips to Penn's Landing every time. There are so many activities different activities during the summer there is something for everyone. You can do many, many things from carnival-style games, a beer garden, restaurants and food stands and hammock lounge, rent swan boats, kayaks for a light paddle around the marina. You can enjoy firework displays, full length movies, concerts of all sorts. At the RiverRink you can roller skate in the summer and ice skate in the winter, there is a ferris wheel as well as amusement rides, mini golf. Located near Penn's Landing Marina on south end is the Cruiser Olympia and submarine Becuna are anchored to be visited. This whole area makes a fascinating picture backdrop from the water at sunset. Enjoy we have many times.
Nice to see Penn's Landing up and running. But whoever runs this place has to keep it clean. It is a mess. And if you love the smell of pot, you'll feel right at home.
