Great Harvest Bread Co - Cary - Bakery and Cake Shop in Cary - 1240 NW Maynard Rd, USA

What a quaint little place. I was in the area looking for a quick sandwich place. Got the turkey sandwich and was so delicious! The ingredients were fresh and the bread was soft, moist and flavorful. They offered me a sample and I chose the blueberry muffin (perfect little treat for dessert). I also bought a couple soup packets while I was there. Cute things for quick small food gifts. The girl who was working there taking orders was very pleasant. Nice place. Will come again.

This place is amazing and I believe it's better than similar stores in the area. I've had their sandwiches, breads, and scones, but I had to stop in the middle of eating this cinnamon bun to give them 5 stars. This is the best cinnamon bun I've ever had, and I just had a Cinnabon at the mall last week. This is a must try, but please leave one on the shelf for me.

On occasion I get a take-out sandwich, then I proceed to the nearby Car Wash, and the nearby gas station and it all uses up my lunch break. I get to enjoy my sandwich as I get my car washed. Today there was a workflow issue. Great Harvest nicely took my order, had me wait as expected and stand nearby but several others received their order, and I was on a schedule to get back to work. I guess a BLT is a complex order. I left. If I do go again, I will preorder. Those people seemed to not experience any issue.

Edit on 6/22/2022: I continue to come here regularly because it’s so good! This time, I noticed by their register a familiar looking pair of glasses! I must’ve left it here a few days ago and have been looking for it! Extra glad to be a regular here! Edit on 10/5/2022: I’ve become a regular here for reasons mentioned below. They greet me with “Hello Moses!” Good food and good service. Near work. Can’t ask for much more. Second time coming here since starting work nearby almost a year ago. I don’t know why I don’t come here more frequently. Delicious sandwich and you walk out knowing you enjoyed a healthy lunch! Friendly staff, too!

Amazing place! This bakery offers a wide variety of freshly baked goods. There is all sorts of stuff ranging from cinnamony or fruity sweets and goodies to healthy breads! The pumpkin chocolate chip, extreme cinnamon, and honey whole wheat are the best breads I have ever had! The staff and owner are sweet and kind. Great place to grab a sweet and enjoy the morning!

This place is always so GREAT! The help and the owner Gin are just so polite and happy to see you when you walk in the door. It’s like an old time bakery where people actually want to help you and see you enjoy your lunch and baked goods!

Pull apart monkey bread is like a bowl of cinnamon roll and it is amazing. Very happy with the bread, the customer service is prime, and the interior is clean and spacious.

God this place smells amazing! Great lunch spot with outdoor seating. Sandwiches are amazing and staff is very friendly. Get the Baja chipotle turkey sandwich!
