Great Gatsby Motel Inn - Northville Hotel Great Sacandaga Lake Adirondack - Motel in Northville - 214 County Hwy 152, USA

I needed a place to stop overnight on a long road trip. I found this Motel online and thought it looked interesting. The room was decent and the bed was comfortable. Not everything had been cleaned when I had arrived. For example, the coffee maker hadn’t been cleaned after a prior stay and there were moldy coffee grounds in the machine. I also had to call the number on the office door to get a code to check in. It honestly wasn’t a big deal, but I was surprised that no one was at the front desk. I love the way they’ve renovated this old motel. If you’re in the area, it’s a great place to stay. A bit more attention to housekeeping would make this a 5 star experience rather than the 4 I gave it.

Room was lovely. Fab location near the lake (with access to the shared, private beach). Beds were comfortable. Shower worked fine. Would def recommend.

It's such a unique concept with great interiors. The only complaint I have is that it's very close to a pub that's open until 2am and it was extremely loud - the music, the roaring motorcycles and some drunk people making a lot of noise.

Very clean and comfortable. Everything worked as expected, even met the caretaker, who asked if I needed anything. Stayed here to do some xc skiing at nearby Lapland Resort, only 20" away. Bonus was finding the Sport Island Pub, with great food and beer, only a short walk away. Would stay here again if in the area.

We stayed for one night. There were 3 of us and we paid specifically for the third person. However the room was set only for 2, including pillows and towels. It was extremely cold outside 9F. But in the room when we got inside was 13F. We came after skiing and was hopping for a hot shower. Instead we have to sit in the car for an hour until the room temperature was. Heat was turned off completely. It's a shame to the management!

Great room, great decor. Wallpaper / small sofa/ area to hand your. Oats or clothes Good for a fun get away. Robes/ fluffy towels/ comfortable bed and pillows. You can not see the lake clearly bc of the trees. The beach is cute, it is down the road from the hotel

Read to the end! This was a convenient stay for our cross-country ski trip. The room was VERY clean which is appreciated these days! Quite interesting decor, mostly in keeping with the retro/Gatsby theme. Online photos are wide angle, giving a larger-than-actual-size impression. Other than the surprisingly small room, the stay was fine and the bed was comfortable. The town's business area is a very short drive from the inn if you need anything (gas, grocery store, banks, post office, etc.) The only downside is I couldn't redeem credit card points (via my credit card company) for the stay because the motel's MCC code with Visa/Mastcard is "tourist attraction" instead of hotel/motel/inn. So, depending on your credit card company and rewards program, you might not be able to EARN points/miles or be able to redeem points/miles for a stay here. I had never heard of this; passing it along for informational purposes.

We stayed two days at the Great Gatsby Motel Inn. rooms are very clean. it was very comfortable. especially the bed was very comfortable. We met Erkan and Zeynep, the owners of the hotel, and we met Oktay the manager who helped them, all very friendly. There are two nice bars around one is sports island pub others one Vic’s bar. There was a live music. The motel located at across the lake. They have a a private beach access and lake was amazing to swim. it was very clean and beautiful. We will definitely come again. Highly recommended!
